Part 10-Why?

Y/N POV

I was now standing outside the control room.Standing with a heavy heart,I gained strength and opened the door.

Y/N:Hey,Vance you son of a bitch.

Vance:Hey Y/N,you figured it out.

Y/N:Why,why did you do that?,you are not a bad person Vance.

Vance:Oh,Y/N.Hahahahahahahahaha,there are no good and bad Y/N.

Y/N:And what does that mean exactly?

Vance:I'm saying that everyone has a reason to do something,either a good or a bad reason.They do it,do it for themselves,for their friends.So,you really shouldn't make a line between good and bad,it doesn't exist.The nicest person you know can and probably would kill you if he needs to.They all have a motive!

I stood silent realizing what he said was true.Everyone has a motive,either its a good or bad way to do things,they only look at the outcome.

Y/N:So...,what does this have to do with you killing our classmates?

Vance:Why shouldn't I?,this world sucks.I'd rather we all die now then later because I don't want to suffer anymore days in this world Y/N.

Vance said before aiming his gun at me.I put my hands up in surrender.

Y/N:Where did you get that?

Vance:A lab I was working in.

Y/N:Lab?,Work?,What are you saying aren't you a student?,you were with us the entire year.

Vance then took the gun to his head.Smiling he said....

Vance:Send my regards to all of them,and sorry.Because I wanna die by my own hands.Right now.

Y/N:No wait!

He pulled the trigger of the gun killing him.I flinched the moment the gun fired.I stepped outside the room and closed it.Goodbye Vance.....

I went down to the ground floor where everyone was waiting for me...

Drake:Did you kill him?,with a gun?

Y/N:No,he killed himself

No one else decided to question me so I told them to follow me and we would go back to the bus.

After a thoughtful consideration.What Vance said was true,all of it.Everything he told me was correct.He made a good point of not wanting to suffer anymore,but he chose the wrong method choosing to kill himself.

I gotta be careful for any traitors now......It is not safe.There is something big going on behind the scenes.I need to find out and stop it.
