I swang my metal rod.We were fighting them off.Growls and blood left and right.Fear all around us.

Timeskip. (At the Bus)
"You don't look scared at all." I asked Brett.He seemed nonchalant despite everything that has happened.

"I learned to not fear."He replied."Fear makes people weak and unable to think properly."He said.

"How....how do you do that?,How can I not fear?"I asked him.

"Just let fear engulf you,for 5 seconds,that is only how long you should allow fear to conquer your emotions...then count 1,...2,.....3,......4,.......5.....Then it will all disappear."He told me giving me advice.5 seconds......

5.......4......3.....2...1 I counted in my mind.Suddenly I felt a sudden rush.No Fear.I didn't feel scared at all.I felt nothing.1 Swing,dodge repeat and repeat.We killed all the agro zombies but there are probably still some inside.

I proposed the idea of clearing it out and they all agreed.We sticked together just to be safe.

After a while.It was finished,we cleared the place.None perished.After clearing the mall we all sat down the center park of the mall.

"Y/N,let's talk,follow me."he said after taking a deep breath after the journey.So I did.We walked and went far.We walked for 5 minutes and I was getting anxious.

But then he turned into a corner and ............kissed me.....

I did what I wanted,I retaliated.

Joey POV
"Loot the place."I told them."We meet in 5 minutes.I stayed there because of my arm.I couldn't pick up things so I would've been just a burden.I know what to do...

5 minutes later

"Everyone gather up,while they are both gone,we should think of a plan"I proposed.They all didn't say anything but judging from the faces.It seems they agreed.

I was telling them the plan I made.But it was cut short.

*static*. *static*

*mic feedback*

*screechhh*

We covered our ears.What's that noise?

The Mall's speakers.The speakers are making the noise,but how?Did someone.....I looked around and noticed something.Him....

Then it stopped.

*smash*.

*smash*

*rubble falls*

*loud steps*

Y/N POV

After the kiss we decided to loot the place together while talking.My heart was still beating so fast.To think that we would kiss.

"So are we a thing now?"I asked.

"Depends,what do you think."he smirked

"I'm thinking,hhhmmmm.Yes."I replied with a cheeky smile.He smiled back at me.

*screeching*

We covered our ears from the loud screeching noise.

*smash*. *smash*

*loud noise*
 
"AHHHHH"yelled someone.We hurried to the location of the scream.We ran.It feels as if running would be the only thing we could do.Come on god,give us a break.

*ground shakes* *graawwwrr*

Another giant.I look around and see a giant hole at the entrance with zombies coming in the mall.That noise earlier......

"Get everything you looted and dip."I yelled before charging.

8 were already dead.

Joey,Elijiah and 6 others crushed with Vance missing.Daniel tried to run as well but the giant threw a boulder and got him.Nine now gone.

I went in head-on after observing the chaos.Alli threw a spear like a javelin straight to the eyes of the giant.The rest of the group fended of the horde of zombies

"Nice throw."I chatted.It got angry and swang its arm everywhere eventually hitting 2 others.11 now dead.The Giant swings its left arm and swoops the ground,I jumped over and onto his arm.After that I ran along the arm then jumped.

I aimed for the head.Right there.....

Got it.

*breath*

*inhale,exhale*

I stood straight and looked around.More zombies.My anger rose up.They were getting overwhelmed.Another 5 eaten alive.16 now gone.There were too many zombies so all we could do was run and so we went to the second floor.We decided to wait until sunrise before making a move.

But for now the culprit.....Vance.

I bid them all farewell before I headed to the control room of the mall to confront him alone.
