T(H)RUST - Ghost x Reader

Chapter 12

The loud beeps from the alarm irritate you. You open your eyes and look up at the underside of the top bunk, tracing the cracks of the boards with your gaze. Turning on your side, you reach out and turn off the alarm. As you do, you can feel two arms wrapping around your body, one over and one under. The arms grab around you tightly, hugging you, before pulling you backward. You make contact with a body, it's large and warm. You feel a breath grazing the skin on your neck.

"Morning."

His voice is raspy and deep, making you smile as he speaks. You can feel a leg being placed over yours, locking you in place, like he worries you will run away otherwise.

"I won't go anywhere." you say, giggling slightly.

"Just making sure." You feel his grip tighten for a second, squeezing you. He could easily keep you here, even if you tried your best to get out of his arms. He places his lips on your neck, kissing you slowly, with care and tenderness you haven't felt from him before. Each kiss leaves a patch of skin warmer than it was before. You start to turn around in his arms, wanting to look at him. He eases the pressure around your body, allowing you to move slightly. As you turn, his kisses adjust, continuing over your cheek and to your lips. You look into his eyes, they look tired. His fingers are stroking your back, down your spine, and then up again.

You lay in this tight embrace, kissing each other slowly and carefully, for a while, until the alarm rings again. Ghost sighs against your lips and you feel his hand leave your back, reaching to turn off the clock. Disappointed, you realize it's probably time to get up, otherwise the others might come looking for you. You can tell Ghost is thinking the same thing as he lets his grip on you soften, removing his leg from the position on top of yours. You sit up, feeling the surrounding air cooling down your skin. For some reason, the room feels different. It looks the same, everything is in the same place as before, but there's something in the air that's changed.

You decide to take a shower, wanting to freshen up before going out and meeting the rest of the guys. After swinging your legs over the edge of the bed, you stand up. As you do, you feel your legs start to shake and almost give out underneath you. You grab a hold of the top bunk, steadying yourself. You hear Ghost chuckle behind you, knowing he is the reason why your legs are shaking. You turn your head and glare at him. He just puts his hands behind his head and closes his eyes. You walk into the bathroom.

The water feels hot against your skin, and in the beginning you just stand for a while, soaking in the feeling. As you wash yourself with soap, you notice the bruises on your body. Some on your hips, and even if you can't see them, you can feel that there is one on each ass cheek.

When you come out of the bathroom, Ghost has already gotten dressed. He's wearing jeans and a dark gray t-shirt, and he has pulled down his mask over his chin. You have gotten used to seeing his jaw and lips and it feels a bit strange that he is covered up again. As you search through the dresser, pulling out some clothes, Ghost sneaks up on you. You feel his thighs press up against you. He helps you put on your clothes, clasping your bra behind your back and pulling your shirt over your head.

You walk out into the kitchen, with Ghost right behind you, having to move slower than normal because of your sore legs. As you walk through the doorway to the kitchen, you notice that everyone except Price and Alejandro is already there. You feel everyone looking at you as you walk over to the coffee machine and start to make a cup. It's quiet and you can feel tension in the air. Ghost follows behind you up to the kitchen counter, he leans against it and crosses his arms.

"Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Riley." Soap says. You turn to him, surprised by what he said. Seeing the look on your face, he continues;

"The walls are thin."
