The gravel road you walk along is surrounded by large spruce-like trees on both sides. The fresh air is pleasant, but you still cough from time to time. You and Ghost are holding hands as you walk, not knowing how far you will have to go until you reach a village or even a house. Where the road meets with the horizon, you can see the sun slowly starting to set, and the sky is dyed a beautiful fuchsia color.

"There are no dangerous animals out here, right?" you ask, starting to get a little scared about being out in the bush at night.

"Some spiders and snakes." Ghost says, he turns to you, pulling up his mask over his mouth. He puts out a hand in front of you and you stop walking, looking up at him instead. "If you get bit, I'll have to suck the venom out." He leans in close to your neck, kissing and sucking on it slightly.

"You know that doesn't work, right?" you say, giggling at the ticklish feeling of his stubble against your neck.

"I'll do it anyways." he says in a quiet whisper, and his warm breath against your skin makes you smile. You feel his hand on your ass, pushing you in the direction you were walking and you continue down the road together.

The moon lights up the road for you, and you can see stars across the whole sky. You have to be quite far away from any major cities since there is no light pollution at all. You eventually get to a larger road and on the other side of it is a large cornfield. As you look both left and right, trying to decide where to go, you spot a small white house.

"Should we see if someone can help us there?" you turn to Ghost and say. He nods his head and you make your way across the road, walking toward the little house. As you get closer you spot light coming out of a window. The house is small with white walls, a red tile roof, and blue wood accents, like the door and rafters. There is a small garden at the front, enclosed by some short brick walls, and on it sits a small black cat.

"You should maybe stay here." you say as you pass the brick wall. His appearance will probably not aid you in getting help from whoever lives in the house. Ghost stops at the wall.

You only know very little Spanish but you will have to try your best to communicate. You walk up to the blue door and knock on it twice. Standing back you wait for someone to come to the door and eventually it opens. You end up face-to-face with a short old lady.

"Hola." You smile as big as you can at her. She looks behind you and says something while pointing, a somewhat unsure look on her face. You turn and she's pointing at Ghost, who is standing and petting the cat on the wall.

"Amigo." you say. Ghost turns to look at you, and he waves slightly. You look back at the woman and she looks a little more at ease. You quickly introduce yourself and Ghost.

"Telephone?" You gesture with your hands at your ear to hopefully make your message come across. The lady shakes her head. Shit. But then she opens the door wider, motioning for you to come inside. You, in turn, motion for Ghost to follow you inside and he does. She closes the door after also letting the black cat enter. The house is very cozy on the inside, with lots of colors, plants, and different rugs and pictures.

"¿Tienes hambre?" the woman says. You look at her confused, not understanding her question. You can see her think for a while before motioning with her hands, and you think she is asking if you want to eat.

"Sí, por favor. Gracias." you say. The woman pulls out two chairs at the small round table, inviting you and Ghost to sit down. As you do, the woman walks to the kitchen part of the small room and starts looking through the cupboards. The black cat is walking around Ghost's legs, meowing at him until he reaches down to pet it.

The woman quickly cooks some meat and prepares quesadillas for you, placing them on the table when they are done. You thank her over and over, to the best of your ability, for the meal. As Ghost reaches for a quesadilla, the lady exclaims something you don't understand. She then walks over to her freezer and pulls out some bags of frozen meat. She brings the bags over to Ghost and places them on his forearms, to help with the burns. Ghost thanks her.
