CHAPTER 19

My name was cleared. Partly thanks to Gwen and Lily they testified against Amelia. Now I am now a free person and it feels good. All I have to focus on me and my family.

I woke up five minutes ago and it's now something AM and I have weird food craving but I am just too lazy to get up and make a move for it. But then again Malik needs to feel the burn too. I never asked him to get me pregnant.

"Malik wake up." I said and hit his back

"Eve go back to sleep." he said

"But I have food cravings." I said

"Fine, now go get yourself whatever it is that you want and let me sleep. Thank you very much."

"No, I want you to go get it." I said and turn on his bedside lamp.

"Eve why?"

'Why what?"

"Don't your lamp work fine?"

"I need you to go get me something."

"Okay alright, what is it that you want?"

"I want apples and bananas with ketchup."

"Huh?" he turn and look at me

"That's what I feel for."

He got up and when in the closet to put on something, since he was only wearing his boxers. He came out the closet and head for the door. My laziness suddenly vanished and I went downstairs when I reached in the kitchen he was cutting up the apples. When he saw me he dropped the knife, inhale then exhale and then shake his head.

"Eve why are you down here?" he asked

"Because I wanted to come down."

"You said you were too lazy to come down to make something to eat and woke me up from my slumber."

"Chill, you the one who got me pregnant!"

"You chill before you have to make this by yourself."

"Sounds like you want to sleep on the couch." I said and he started cutting again

"Who's the one that's going to say 'Schatje come back in the bed please.'?" he mimicked my voice

"Shut your face Bruh." I smile that is exactly what I will do

After he cut it up he went to the fridge and hand me the ketchup. I put some on my fruits and started to eat and it really taste good. I let out a moan and Malik look at me in disgust.

"You really didn't just moan." Malik said and shake his head

"What? It is really good, come and try it." I offered him a banana that was on the fork

"Who you talking to?"

"You, come." I said

"I am not even going to worry with you. 4 more months and bomb the baby is here." he said

"What are we going to name it?"

We already have a daughter and a son so therefore we want this baby's sex to be a surprise and by we I mean Malikai. Because he doesn't want to know the sex I can't know the sex. That's not fair right? I know.

"If it's a boy I want his name to be Xavier Jamie Clancy or Frans Jamie Clancy." He said

"And if it's a girl?" I asked

"That is up to you." he said

"Okay, if it's a girl Clair Monique Naomi Clancy and we still get to keep the Naomi train going."

"Yeah and for the boys long live the Jamie's." we both started laughing after that we fall in a comfortable silence. Him making himself coffee and me finishing up my awesome meal.

"You hear that?" he asked

I listen and then I started hearing little voices and footsteps. Why are they up at five in the morning?

"That sounds a lot like my little rats." I whispered

"Because that's them sshh." He came over and helped me off the bar stool

"Where are we going?" I asked

"Let's go in the living room and sit down." he said and I don't know why he even suggested that

"They'll see us fool." I whispered while tip toeing to the living room

"No they won't one the lights in the living room is off and two they don't have to come in the living room." He said

We sat in the chair, well he sat and I lay down in the chair and my head in his lap while I am tracing his all so fabulous abs.

"Eve stop that."

"Why?"

"Sshh they are downstairs." he answered

"Can you just shut up for God's sake all we need to do is just get to the door and open it, how hard is that?" Malika said clearly pissed at her brother

Why are they going to the door? We heard a car pull up in the yard.....then another then I am not liking this. I've only been back for two months and I am so not ready for no drama.

"Who's there you think?" I whisper in Malik's ears

"Nobody dangerous for sure." He said

"How would you know?"

"Evy why would the kids let someone dangerous in our house?" he asked matter of fact

"They your kids you never know what to expect." I said even though we in the darkness I can feel his eyes looking down on me

After a moment of silence we heard Cree speak.

"Okay come on in, I am going to love their reaction. We are going to go to the living room and Malika is going to scream and that will get their attention." Cree said softly

"Why do I have to scream?" Malika asked

"Why shouldn't you scream?" He asked and I can only imagine the look on his face

"You should do it." she told him

"Boys don't scream now get a whole of yourself and take your position." Cree said like a pro

After that the place went quite we couldn't even hear footsteps then an unfamiliar voice spoke.

"So you two done?" the voice asked

"Don't push it because you already know I don't like you." Cree said

That was harsh

"Come in." Malika said and we heard footsteps coming in the living room. Sounds like a lot of people to me.

"I am going to turn on the lights." Cree told Malika

"No leave it." another unfamiliar female voice said

"Okay here goes nothing." Malika said and scream, I even had to cover my ears

"Mom! Dad!" Cree shouted

"Cree." Malik and I said in unison calmly and the whole room erupted into screams

"Turn on the lights." someone yelled and Malik clapped on the lights turned on, I sat up and look where the crowed was at then Heaven and I started screaming. I got up of the couch and ran to her, I hugged her tight. I haven't seen Heaven in like seven years. After I came back we spoke one and two time but that was it now she's standing in my living room *screams*
