CHAPTER 11

2 months after

Over these two months we've had a busy Precinct and the more the crime came the more we've solve them. In two months we already solved four cases.

Fantastic 8 is getting its grove back. The group is just missing Heaven. I really miss her. Since the Precinct has been so busy, Fantastic 8 haven't had its talk yet. Malikai and I have been going strong and much of what happen in the shower the first time he came to sleepover since I came back has been happening.

He decided that he wanted to move in with us, but he still have his penthouse. Whenever we need an escape we'll just run there. The whole family are leaving soon, we are going to attend Heaven's baby shower then come back to New York and then return for her wedding. She of all people I never expect to get hitch much less lose her V-Card. Heaven is going to forever be my partner in crime, and I love her to death.

"What are you thinking about?" Schat asked sitting in the chair with me.

We took the day off to rest, more like for me to rest. For the past month or so I am beginning to feel sick mostly in the morning and I get tired easily. Schat insist that I see a doctor but I don't want to. I feel like there is no need to, I feel like I know what's wrong with me but I am just not putting my finger on it. The kids went to school and now I am home with their father and I am silently preparing myself for a very long babbling on how I am stubborn and when you don't hear you feel.

"Nothing much just the past events that happened the last two months."

"Including you being sick and don't want to go to the doctor?"

"Maybe."

"Evy?"

"Schatje?"

"Why you making me so stressed out?"

"Schat you are stressing yourself for no practical reason and I don't want you to blame it on me."

"So let's just go and see the doctor and I promise you that I won't make a fuss out of it anymore."

"Well..."

"Well why are you scared of going to the doctor? This is so not like you, the ER was once your best friends what happen?"

"Nothing happened."

I look away from Malikai knowing he can look in my eyes and know if I am lying or telling the truth. And because I was not telling the truth I looked away immediately. He is right I am afraid of doctors. Back in Italy when I gave birth to the twins a doctor almost steal Cree. He took him and said that he died. One of the nurse told me that he was lying and told me how I must get back my baby. The police end up getting involve and I got back my baby. Ever since then the hospital was my least favorite pla-

"Oh shit!"

Now that I was talking about giving birth a thought run in my mind. How can I not think about that happening?

"Babe what?" Malikai asked with so much concern

"I don't really know how you are going to take this."

"You'll never know unless you tell me so spill the beans."

"Schat I think I am preg-" I got cut off by his phone ringing

He decline the call and looked back at me with those sexy eyes of his.

"Continue baby."

As I was about to open my mouth his phone rang again. I took that as a sign that say maybe I should tell him another time, maybe tomorrow or the other day or the other day after that. You'll never know.

"Maybe you should answer that."

"You come first work can always come after."

"Seriously answer it."

"You sure?"

"Very."

"I will be back in a second."

He got up and walked to the other side of the living room leaving me to think. Oh My God I am pregnant again and I am super happy about it. I just don't know what Malikai will think about it. I want him to be as happy as I am. I think he will be happy to have another child, he has grown since I came back from Italy and I am having home delivery for a fact.

"Baby we need to go right now?" Schat announce with a unreadable expression on his face and I feel somewhat worried

"Where we going?"

"Crime scene."

With that he just walked up the stairs, I feel even more worried. Whose crime scene is it and why is Schat so worked up about it? If it was one of our relatives my phone would've been blazing off. So that means it is not a close friend or relative. I got up and made my way to my room and my closet. He was in the room and he didn't bother spearing me a glance. I put on a dress pants and shirt and comb my hair in a ponytail.

We went to the garage and he drove to the crime scene. I am nervous to what I will see when I reach. When we finally reached the crime scene. Before leaving for Italy I don't remember having a friend move in this district. Out of the blue the tension I was feeling immediately vanished. I followed behind Malikai as he led the way to what looks like the victim's house. The whole team was there even Captain Samuel....weird. He never leave the Precinct to come on a crime sight.

A ball made its way to my throat as I walk under the yellow tape and enter the room the victim was murdered in which was the living room. When I entered the whole Fantastic 8 except Malikai looked at me weirdly and Mydi walked over to me and whispered in my ear.

"I didn't expected you of all people to be here." she whispered calmly in my ear

"And why not?"

"Because..."

She then held my hand and led me to the victim's body I was surprised to see who it was.

It was Celeste as in Celeste that Malikai was dating before I came back.
