CHAPTER 19 (TRUTH)

MARCO'S POV

I silently watched them fight and anger raise on me. How could Mirana do that to her own sister? Iniisip niya lang ang kanyang sarili, she's a selfish brat.

I watched Adam as he gets to his car furiously and Mirana was catching to him and get into his car. Adam started the engine and drove off till they are no longer at my sight.

My hands formed into fist, I look at Marina who is kneeling on the floor and sobbing. She was about to stand up when she outbalanced herself and collapse on the floor.

I quickly run to the door for it was open and hurriedly pick her up like a bridal style. She winced as I pick her up and a single tear run on her flawless cheeks.

I can feel her pain as I feel what Mirana had done with me. I lay her in the soft mattress bed slowly she mumbled a word that I can't clearly understand, I tucked a loose hair in her ear. She's much beautiful than Mirana I know that they are twin but Mirana is just so different than Marina.

I roamed my eyes in the room; it was painted in cream and white simple yet elegant looking. I walk near the table where the picture frames are properly lined. After I look at the pictures I decided to get a glass of water for Marina if she ever be awake.

I place the glass of water in the table and I cooked also pancakes for her and place a little note saying "eat".

After I write the note, I took a last glance at Mirana and headed out I know she'll be okay.

ADAM'S POV

Hindi ko alam kung bakit ako umalis at hinayaan si Mirana na ngayon ay si Marina, naguguluhan ako sa mga nangyayari.

"Adam," the woman next to me speaks

I didn't replied instead I focus on the road not bothering to look at her.

"I'm Mirana," she muttered and I can feel her stares

"If you are Mirana, why didn't you tell me that you had a twin at first?" I suddenly asked cause her to widen her eyes, she's not really expecting me to question her that way.

"I uh-", she stuttered answering

"Don't need to answer it, even though I don't know the whole story I don't trust you anymore and whose Marco? You dared to cheat on my back?" I gritted my teeth and I grip firmly the wheel cause my knuckles to go white.

"Adam I-" I cut her off

"Just damn answer me!" I shouted cause her to jump from her seat

"Okay I'll answer you but not here", she said and I nodded and headed to the nearest hotel we are driving of.

"Out! Don't expect me to open the door for you," I coldly stated and open my door and headed to the lady who is in charged for the customers

She greeted me and before she could say anything she eyed Mirana next to me and greeted her not the same way she greeted me.

"We need a room," I stated in a bored tone and the lady smiled and gives me the key for the available room

"Room number 101 Sir. Call us if you need anything," the lady said politely and I nooded for an answer

Ng makapasok kami sa kwartong aming kinuha ay agad kung sinirado ang pintuan at bumaling sa kanya.

"Speak" I stated firmly, she walk near in the bed and take a sit

"Ada-"

"Speak! Don't make me say it again!" I shouted cause her to flinch

"Ginawa ko iyon dahil kay Marco," she look at me and I just stared at her saying continue

"Marco is my ex and he wants us to be together again"

"Why? Am I not enough?" I stated coldly and my hands formed into fist

"Adam its-"

"Answer me," I glared at her

"Marco is a wealthy man nasilaw ako sa kanya. Oo inaamin kong pera ang habol ko sa kanya ngunit hindi mo ako masisisi gusto ko lang ng magandang buhay para sa akin at sa magiging anak ko balang araw," she stated sobbing her hands were covering her face

"At sa tingin mo ay hindi ko maibibigay yun sayo?" mapakla kong sabi

"Nagkamali ako Adam," she started crying in front of me, her eyeliners were starting to smudge on her face

"Tell me are you pregnant?" I asked cause her to face me

"Y-yes," she nervously answered

"And why did you show up?" I asked and she just stayed silent

"Let me guess you want to tell me that I am the father of that huh and that's my responsibility? You will take an advantage on me even if you would hurt your sister," I added and she cried harder, I hold myself not to pity her cause she is not worth it but I can't help myself. I walk near to her and embrace her and she cried harder in my shoulder.

"I'm so sorry Adam I'm so sorry forgive me please please," she mumbled on my shoulder

"Don't ask for my forgiveness Mirana you should ask forgiveness to your sister Marina"

"I cant, I can't face her I'm a terrible sister to her. I can't forgive myself"

"She will, she's kind and I know because she loves you"

"Ang importante ay ang bumalik ka kung sino man ang ama ng dinadala mo. Magiging kawawa ang anak mo na walang ama at alam kong hinahanap ka rin niya," I whipered in her ear and she nodded in agreement

"Do you love her?" she asked cause me to face her

"Yes I love her not because you are her and not because she pretended to be you. I love her just the way she is and I am thankful that she got into my life. I will still gonna marry her," I stated honestly and she just smiled

"Thank you for loving her I don't deserve you but she deserve you, you are both deserve each other. Wish you both the happiness and again I'm sorry," she said as she hold my hand.

"Take care of her and tell her how sorry I am, someday our destinies will collide and I wish to have a strength to face her that day. I hated myself blaming her and--" her voice cracked and started crying

"Shhhh its okay now," I said as I embrace her with a hug

We stayed there for a while till she feels better and we decided to go. She decided to book a flight to Paris and go back to Marco. Hindi niya pa kayang harapin ang kanyang kapatid ngunit may ipinadala siyang sulat para kay Marina.

Kailangan kong humingi ng tawad sa kanya kailangan kong bumalik sa kanya. I hurriedly get my car and headed to the house. I still do love her despite everything.
