"Then why doesn't Xena have to learn"I look over at her "Because I've learnt already" I smirk I look back at my journal drawing the lake trying to tune out their conversation. As nice as it is being with them I feel like a massive third wheel.
"Xena I'm going try and get an antidote for Octavia's leg stay here and protect her" I nod and go sit down next to Octavia she rests her head on my shoulder
"You should get Lincoln to tell you about poils," I say to her trying to keep her conscious
"Why?"
"He says it's beautiful a massive tower and markets where you can buy anything you could imagine"
"When did you go and speak to Lincoln?" I chuckle at the slight jealousy in her tone
"Don't worry he use to train me because I'm a Nightblood he taught me their language and trained me to fight like a grounder and if we had extra time he would tell me stories" she smiles "That sounds nice"
"Yea he's like my moody mentor" she laughs but stops quickly
"Do you see that man?" I look where she pointing and don't see anything "Octavia it's just the poison your seeing things"
"No! He's right there and he's coming" Lincoln comes running over
"She hallucinating did you find it?" He shakes his head "come on" he lifts Octavia up and we start walking towards the woods.

"I am Octavia of the sky- you know, you both still haven't even told me where we're going"
"I don't know either" I hear a small laugh escape her lips
"Can't you smell it? We're almost to the sea" I stay quiet while he tries to set Octavia's mind to ease.
"No, I can't smell anything. Lincoln, I'm scared"
I frown "don't worry Octavia you're a fighter you will be fine I'll make sure of it"
We make it to Lincoln's village "Both of you stay here I'll be back quickly" Octavia starts to protest but Lincoln only reassures her and start to make his way to the village I look over to Octavia and she falling asleep
"Come on Octavia stay awake you can't fall asleep" her eyes open " do you wanna learn some of the phrases in trig something that is not as boring as Lincoln teaches you" I look over to her and she nods I teach her some phrases she wants to learn I even get a few laughs out of her.
A man starts to walk over and I stand up and take out my sword "Lincoln sent me" I look at him suspiciously
"Where is he? He ignores my questions "She needs to drink this or she will die" I take the vial from him and go over to Octavia "Octavia come on you need to drink this" I put it to her mouth and she starts
"All of it," the man says I carry on giving it to her until it is finished I look at him "Thank you but where is Lincoln?"
"He's answering for what he's done. Because he helped you, our clan is vulnerable. If the reapers come, we can't even fight them off" I look at him shocked
