Some of you might be wondering what happened to Ace and Marco in the sequel...?
Well, they're dead. They died in Chapter 24, way before the sequel. The sequel is about their kids, aka the twins, claiming the One Piece after Luffy, the King of Pirates and their uncle, got executed. It's like reliving Luffy's adventures over again but with Ace's and Marco's kids, Ember and Aiko.
