It's mid week at this point, Piper is still staying with the boys which in tow means James and Tilly are still staying with me
Dare I say we have quite the routine going on at the moment?
James told Piper last night that we were gonna come visit next week after her called his mother who was over the moon with the news
Tilly, Piper and I were in the mall seeing as James had left the dress shopping to me and what better person to do it with then Tilly's Auntie
"You know, I don't think I've ever seen James as calm as he is with you" Piper said as we continued to look through a rack of dresses
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Well you've told me about all of the meltdowns he's had over Tilly. He used to have them growing up, mainly when dad was stressing him out and he couldn't cope. Nobody and I mean nobody has ever been able to talk him out of one" She explained making me raise a brow
"It would usually lead to James staying awake for at least 24 hours straight. He wouldn't be able to shut off but yet you can.. You can calm him and help" Piper finalised offering me the sharpest smile
"I think you're giving me more credit then you need to Piper. All of this with Tilly is unknown for James. Eventually he clock onto what needs to happen, he'll understand it all and then he won't need me to help him" I said
"I don't think that's the case. I think you've made your mark with both of them and I don't think that he'll let go anytime soon" She smiled before skipping off with the buggy leaving me at the rack of dresses
I hadn't really thought about the idea of James getting attached, it was understandable for Tilly to but James? I shouldn't be anything more then a nanny to him but the longer I am.. the more I can feel the job role shifting a little bit
"Piper?! What are you doing here?" A voice said instantly making me look up to see Piper stood by the teddies now with another lady joining them
Was it with random people this week
"Hi" Piper said awkwardly making me raise a brow before coming over
The closer I got to them, the more I could now here Tilly fussing. Meaning she wasn't happy either
"You guys okay?" I asked to Piper before crouching down to look at Tilly
"uh I think your a little out of your job roll. Why on earth is a sales assistant looking inside a pram. Better yet Piper why do you have a baby?" The girl asked
"Beth this is Riley, Riley this is Beth James' old friend" Piper said making me raise a brow
"I don't think old friend is the right term Piper. Your brother and I dated" Beth said confidently
"Mm I'm not sure on that" Piper said quietly enough I think only I heard her
"Nice to meet you Beth" I said before picking up Tilly to stop her fussing in the hope this wasn't about to turn into a meltdown
"Cute kid" Beth said making me nod looking at Tilly
"It's James' daughter" Piper answered making me glare at he slightly
I knew she was probably only saying that to spite Beth considering she thinks she dated James but Piper doesn't agree.
When did all of this get so confusing ughh
"James has a baby?" Beth said, her tone a little softer then it had been this entire exchange
"Yes. Yes he does" Piper said before pushing the buggy away again leaving Beth stood there looking confused

By the time we got back that night, Piper had to run off to the boys flat. Something about some school call. While Tilly and I headed to mine
The moment we walked through the door, I had anticipated that it would be empty but surprisingly enough it wasn't
James was practically passed out on the sofa, he was home a lot earlier then usual
"Ladybug, do you wanna wake up you dada?" I asked before Tilly giggled looking over at James
Smiling at her I nodded walking over to the sofa placing Tilly on his chest while she started to blow raspberries covering James' in spit
James opened one eye to see Tilly giggling on his chest
"Tillyyy" He groaned snaking his arms around shifting both of them so she was laid on the sofa with him
"Tills, I think something is missing" James said while I started to unpack all of the things we had bought today
I had put away all of the produce I had bought and was heading to the bedroom to put away the clothes I'd bought myself and the things I had bought for Tilly
There wasn't much but there was enough that I wanted to put it away straight away, I didn't want to wait around with it lingering in the flat
As soon as I closed the wardrobe door, I was about to turn around to head back into the living room, but before I could even have the change to take a breath in, an arm wrapped around my waist picking me up off the floor
"What the!" I squealed opening my eyes to see James carrying not only me but also Tilly
"James put me down" I said trying to squirm out of his arms
Moments later the three of us had toppled over onto the bed, James had kept an arm around both Tilly and I caging us in
"See Tills, I told you something was missing" James said kissing her cheek as she laid in between the middle of us
Tilly turned to look at me with a smile on her face, she placed her hand on my cheek before cuddling up to me
"No fair, I brought you guys into the cuddle and then she abandons me for you?" He pouts making me roll my eyes
"what can I say, I'm the favourite remember" I said making James chuckle
"Yes Riley, you certainly are" He whispered pulling both of us closer before closing his eyes again
