His pathetic stammering rewarded nothing but a clicked tongue and deadly snake eyes. Feeling Rin's grip weaken while slowly pulling away, danger instincts alerted his panicking heart. The dull look in her eyes only meant a disastrous conclusion, which would probably dampen their relationship.
Keisuke.... _Ok ok, don't go pulling out that scary look, i'll properly explain._
She let go still high on guard. So were her interested friends, carefully paying attention to the prince bettering his showy bow tie.
Keisuke.... _Don't get angry ok?_
Rintarõ.... _I won't.....if it's not too bad_
Keisuke.... _Ahem, so..uhm, i got a call from the council president yesterday to make sure i'd come early today. And although it was obviously mysterious, i came anyways. I met the expressionless senior Satoshi, and he asked for a favor. ’Class 3-S is doing a teenage-aimed host club, but they're short on handsome popular males so could you fill in for them? Your shift only covers 30 minutes,” he said, deep look holed up his eyes. Since i definitely couldn't refuse, i involuntarily agreed. But i'm not interested in any of the girls there!_
Words escaping like poisonous gas, calmness seized the wild for a while. A secluded scream lashed out his boiling mind, set on the thought of Haruno getting angry.
Quite the contrary, a huge smile suddenly latched onto smooth inviting lips.
Her scared yet defiant face dropped, opening one tightened mouth agape for chuckles.
Fleeting moments past terrifying laughter, one couple surrendered to their inner thoughts, soon to join the "giggle 'till you cough" party. Only perplexed prince charming remained quiet, tapping his forehead while trying to muster up hilarious emotions. But a sharper glare and he still didn't get it.
He plundered an almost squashed needle-hole look, scowled face trickling drops of impatience, in preparation to ask the joke. Which of course he wasn't gonna like.
Keisuke.... _Er.., what's so funny?_
Rintarõ.... _You don't get it? Ugh, you're hopeless. The kind, sweet, handsome but not so flirty Kei i know is working as a host. I don't know about you but that's just funny. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for your clients Hahaha..._
The poor humiliated gentleman fired plenty comebacks, but all fell on deaf ears. Girly chortles blocked his attempt at being manly, not to mention Satan spawn-like devilish mockery from his brother. Enjoying a good exercise for their dead ribs, patterned steps threw one large veil of sudden disturbance.
