Three Months Later

Dear Miss Joriseen,

It has been informed to my undivided attention that you have been skipping instrumental music class. You doing so is inflecting poorly not only on our community but on yourself. If you don't start attending this class you wont get any credit for it. I'm sorry but I don't know what else to do.

I closed my laptop and forcefully shoved my computer aside.

" Go mind your own damn business and keep your fat ass out of mine!"

" I don't have a fat ass chicka but if thats what you want fine!"

Oh no!

" Bryce. I'm sorry. I didn't see you there. I wasn't talking to you."

She shrugged off her cream winter coat with black buttons and came down to sit on my bed.

" Who were you talking to then? The computer screen?"

Bryce doesn't know that for the last three months I never went back to band class after Professor Maddox left me. I also missed serval mandatory rehearsals and concerts. But I honestly didn't care.

I couldn't face him. It would just bring back to many painful memories. So the best plan was to just not go until the end of the semester. Which is in like a week.

I have been so focused on my other classes that I never told anyone what happend. Not even Bryce. Maybe now is a good time to do so. From the very beginning.

" Yes. I was talking to an email that Mr. Rainsbury sent me."

Bryce went over to the shoe rack where we kept snacks and took out lucky charms granola bar.

" Why would he sent you an email? And do you want one?"

" No thank you." I wasn't hungry. Plus I don't like marshmallows. Its chaotic I know but I have a phobia of sticky food not getting out of my teeth.

" So why did he email you." I'm glad she waited until she was done chewing. If she didn't it would be muah muah muah muah like the peanut characters.

" Because I haven't been going to band rehearsal."

" Whaaaat????" She spit out part of the mushed up gronolla she was crunching on. Yuckkkk!!!! " Whyyyyyy? You love band!"

I know. Don't remind me. Professor Maddox sucked all the fun out of it! He's a fun sucker!
