At the duke's study~~
Keira knocked at the door and heard a 'come in'.
*Cold voice "You asked for me, your grace?"
Claude was surprised at his cold voice but started talking nevertheless.
"There is a ball tomorrow at the royal palace. Get ready. We'll depart in the morning."
"Got it, your grace. Anything else?"
"No....."
"Then I will take my leave now."
Keira looked at Claude with cold emotionless eyes before leaving with Lily. Claude was surprised to see that look in his son's eyes who was known to love him dearly. He doesn't even call him father now.
After coming out of the duke's study room, Keira simply told Lily to do other things.
Lily bowed and went away knowing that he wanted to be alone rn.
"Ugh! Sometimes I just want to kill myself!"
