Chapter 50 (My Lovely Jisoo)

Jennie needed to recuperate at the hospital for few days before she could leave.

Fortunately, nothing happened after she woke up.

No complications were found and everything was normal. Even Little Bump’s vital signs were normal.

As Jennie was still staying in the hospital,Lisa assigned 20 bodyguards for her.

Jennie almost puked blood after learning the truth.

She is not some Young Mistress nor an Imperial Concubine that needed protection all the time. She could take care of herself.

But Lisa insisted. She was afraid that the main culprit would strike again inside the hospital.

She could only tighten the security and make sure no one could enter and leave without permission.

Lisa decided to create a mini hospital room in her estate to cater Jennie’s needs once they move in.

She already asked 5 doctors to temporarily live in her estate to monitor Jennie’s health and recovery.

She was still very vigilant.

She did not want Jennie to stay here in the hospital. But she needed to undergo tests so she could only grit her teeth and wait for few days.

(ROSÉ'S POV.)

Rosè was bored to death.

After Jennie and Lisa left that night, Hanbin also left few minutes later.

Since then, Jennie did not contact her.

She could only sigh.

'Aiyaa… I’m bored to death… What should I do? I don’t even know Jisoo’s schedule.. Aiyoo.. I’m afraid to ask bad person'

Rosé went back to the Market where she ate last time to relieve her boredom.

She also wanted to find out if someone found her handkerchief.

When she left the hotel, she did not noticed a black Mercedes Benz following her red Audi.

(A/N: I kinda find her stalker a little creepy.. Hahaha.)

When she arrived at the market, she decided to ask the management personnel about her handkerchief.

Unfortunately, no one found it.

Rosé could only sigh and give her thanks.

She was walking endlessly without even paying attention to the different delicacies presented in the stalls.

She lost her desire to eat food because of her handkerchief so she decided to board her car and drive towards the nearest mall to waste time.

Before she could start the engine, her phone rang.

She looked at the screen.

The word 'MOTHER' blinked few times.

Rosé was very reluctant to answer the phone call.

She left home after her parents decided to betroth her with the son of their business partner in America.

She did not want someone to dictate her life.

She wanted to be free.

She wanted to find love.

She wanted to start a family with the person she loved and not because of mutual benefits.

So she left home.

After few more rings, Rosé decided to answer the phone call.

"Hello, mom?"

"Rosie! Where were you in these past few weeks?? You didn’t even call me. You just left the house. Rosé… My darling… Are you okay? Are you eating well?"

Her mom sounded so helpless and full of worry.

Rosé felt guilty.

She never really considered everything before she left home.

She never thought of her mother, father, their company and everyone before marching out of the house and running away from her marriage.

"Mom.. Rosé was very willful and stubborn… But please forgive Rosé for running away… Mom.. I—-"

Before she could finish her sentence, she heard a loud voice from the other side of the call.

"Who are you talking to? Is that your filial daughter?! How dare you contact that ungrateful child!!"

"Daniel, she is still your daughter! How could you say that?!"

Park Daniel snorted.

"She left home so she no longer have any connection towards the Park Family!"

Rosé could hear everything what the old couple was arguing.

Rosé could not help but bite her lips as tears fell down her cheeks.

She slowly said,

"M-Mom.. It’s okay.. I'll hang up."

But before she could end the call, her father snatched her mother’s phone.

"Why did you call?"

Rosé wanted to retort and say that it was her mother who called her but in the end she just closed her mouth, refusing to answer her father's question.

"You unfilial child! You only thought of yourself!! This union was made for the sake of Park Family–Our Family! For the sake of your happiness! You dare run away and give shame to our face! You are no longer fit to be my daughter."

Rosé felt she was stabbed a hundred times.

She could not help but burst into tears.

She laughed mockingly and answered her father.

"Really? You did it for my sake? Hahaha. No! No, dad… You did it for your sake!! Did you ever ask me if I was willing?! That if I wanted to marry someone I do not love?? No! You did not care about me!! You only cared about yourself! About Park Family’s face!! You only cared about our family business!!

But you never really cared about me!! You never treated me as your child!! You treated me like a business collateral!! Someone you could use to expand the business grandfather gave!

I know, deep inside, you blame me. You blame me for being a daughter. That I was not a son that could carry the lineage of the Family..

I’m sorry but I can’t take it anymore… I want to be free… I want to marry the person I love.. I’m sorry dad… I’m sorry.."

Rosé ended the call while sobbing hard.

It took her half an hour to control her emotions.

She left the car.

She went towards a Korean tent that was selling soju and other finger foods.

"Ajussi! 5 glasses of soju!!"

Rosé drank and drank until nighttime.

She was leaning on the table.

She was dead drunk. She tried to stand up but she could not even use her feet. Her limbs were void of energy.

She tried to stand up again.

Fortunately, she was successful this time but before she could take a step forward, her body swayed back and forth.

Her vision went blurry and she fell backwards.

Two slim hands steadied her body.

She turned her head upward and saw two beautiful eyes staring at her.

She grinned.

"Ahhh! My lovely Jisoo- *hiccs* why-why are you here?? *hiccs*"

She hugged Jisoo like a koala. All of Rosé's limbs were firmly attached to herbody.

The woman’s mouth twitched while looking at her grimly.
