Dead Love.

A white van pulled up its tires scratching to a stop, Carl and Kendra stood in-front of Lori her arms wrapped around their shoulders hugging them against her body. A frown grew onto Carl's lips watching everyone reunite with their family's.

It almost made Kendra sick, her body felt un easy, everyone here had lost something and everyone would continue to lose something it was the way of life. The humans were now at the bottom of the food chain, and the dead they were at the very top.

"How'd you get out T?" Kendra asked the man who smiled softly at the young girl who simply stared at the ground.

Clearing his throat T-dog smiled with a proud nod.

"The new guy got us out!" He announced, scratching at his head, he pointed to the van which appeared to be empty.

"Come on our helicopter boy" Miles called out his arm slung over his wife's shoulder and his kids hugging at his legs.

Kendra grew curious about the mystery man, quirking a brow Kendra found herself staring at the van, her hands folded behind her back. The sounds of boots stepping against metal gave the sign that the man was leaving the van. Stepping out Carl, stood shocked before breaking off into a sprint chasing after his father with Lori hot on his trail.

Shane stood off to the side as if he wasn't haply his best friend was back and alive. While Kendra didn't move, she couldn't help but feel a pang of jeoulsy flow through her veins, a feeling she didn't like to feel but she couldn't help but feel the way she was, she was thrilled that the boy had his father back, she was upset because she didn't understand why she was so angered.

Kendra Walsh was a bright a joyful girl, she was always top of her classes, friends with nearly everyone in the school, and was very talkative and always was a problem solver.

Although that was what the picture perfect family wanted everyone to believe. Next to the Grimes family, the Walsh's were perfect, behind closed doors was a different story.

Often filled with Shane and Amelia screaming back and fourth while their daughter hid in a closest, though if Shane was angered enough, and with beer pumping through his veins he'd take it out on his daughter. Bruises would lifer her skin, and her mother would slap makeup onto the visible ones. Claiming her father was just upset, that it wouldn't happen again.

It did, it always did and as the brunette aged the beatings would get worse. Shane had so many awful things in him, but trusting him with fire was never smart.

Kendra would have a scars to prove so for the rest of her life, a small burn mark, on her right wrist, one on her stomach large enough to make the faint outline of a cigar.

The deathly tobacco that seemed to suck the life from everyone. "You can't possibly be leaving already!" Lori cried out to her husband who was talking about heading back into Atlanta.

Clicking his tongue Rick nodded his head setting his sherif hat beside him, an arm wrapped around Carl and one around Loris hand.

Everyone was okay, for now. He claimed they needed guns, and he had dropped them a lot of them in Atlanta when he was there. They were surrounded by walkers but it was a risk he was willing to take to be able to keep everyone at the camp alive.

That morning, Rick and 4 others left back down to Atlanta.
