Today was the day Emilia would see her sister, yesterday had flown by.

She had spoken to Antonio yesterday and because they were both ungrounded, Antonio asked if they could do something Saturday, she told him she was visiting family but would be free Sunday, so they planed it out, they both made it clear to each other it was just two friends hanging out, they were even meeting up with Sophia, Evan, Lucy and Hailey later in the day.

Unfortunately Damon had been in meetings all day so they never got chance to speak. He had left the house at 6am, only to return way after midnight.

So now it was Saturday morning and Emilia was looking at herself in the mirror. She could see the changes in her appearance, Thursday night had broken her but she still looked alot happier, her bones no longer stuck out so much, she looked healthier.

So much had changed in the past month.

A knock at the door had here pulling down her T-shirt fast, she had lifted it up slightly to see how many ribs were now showing.

"Can I come in Emilia"

She relaxed when she heard it was Alesandro.

"Yeah come in" she told him as she went to find some shoes.

"How are you feeling" he asked.

"Nervous I guess. Last time I spoke in front of her..." Emilia trailed off.

"Not to worry, I'll be right by your side the entire time bambina" Alesandro said.

"Thank you" Emilia said.

"If you want to talk about it, I'm here" Alesandro said

"I know. It's just hard, I want anwsers, I want to move on. Why doesn't she want me talking? Why did she laugh and encourage them to abuse me? Why did she tell them to abuse me? Just why?" Emilia said.

They hadn't spoken much of the abuse, only that it happened, and about the incident with the drug dealer. Hearing what Lexi had done to her made Alesandro angry. He didn't want to scare her though so instead he masked his anger. He was good at hiding emotions, even better than Damon at times. Damon got angry quick but Alesandro, he could be even more emotionless as he could control his anger.

"What happened should never have happened, it might be hard but I'm so proud of how far you have come already. You didn't speak at all for the first few days, then you moved to your phone/notebook and now you are speaking to us all and even on public occasionally. I'm so proud of you for that. And of course I'm extremely proud of you for feeling comfortable enough that you can joke with us"

Emilia smiled, he was right. She had come so far. "I'm no longer running away from you" she mumbled.

"were we really that scary to you" he asked.

Emilia nodded "terrifying"

Alesandro knew he and Damon could be scary, especially Damon but he didn't like the thought that his own daughter was scared of him.

"And now? Do you still see that"

Emilia didn't like the question, butsje decided to anwser it honestly. She was done with keeping her feelings to herself.
She wanted to open up to them.

"Well that depends really. Damon he can be scary at times. But you, I definitely think you could be scary if you wanted but your too nice to be scary" she tried to explain.

Alesandro smiled "you are quite right. If you ever feel scared in my presence I'm doing something wrong. Please tell me if you ever feel that way"
