CHAPTER 30

"Aly!" I shouted at the man as he ran towards me happily. I giggled and opened my arms to embrace him. "Congratulations, handsome! One medal down, one more to go!"

"Thank you, my Mau." He muttered and plants a kiss on my cheek before placing his head on top of mine.

Ngayon ang awarding ceremony ng mga nanalo sa volleyball at basketball team. Nanalo sila Hailes ng silver at ang team naman namin ang nakakuha ng gold. Nanalo rin sila Stella habang ang sa amin naman ay hindi naka-abot ng finals. Binati ko silang lahat at ngayon, si Hailes naman ang pinuntahan ko.

"My parents want to meet you.." He spoke, breaking from the hug to look at me. My eyes went wild upon his statement. "I told them about you and they want to meet this beautiful woman tonight if you're available."

"Hala, anong oras?!" I asked, panicking. "Papa will be coming home tonight as well. Nangako kasi ako na ako ang susundo sakanya."

"Mamaya pa naman ng six thirty." He answered as I nodded. "Okay lang ba? Should we make it early? 6PM?"

"No, okay lang. I estimated na 8PM ang dating ng eroplano dito." I assured him, holding his hand.

We both walk out of the auditorium and went to the parking while talking.
Natatakot ako! Hindi ko alam kung paano sila kausapin lalo na't napaka-loko kong babae. Baka gagawing mga barkada ko pa ‘yun. Kung ano-ano pa naman ang lumalabas sa bunganga ko! Hindi talaga ako mapakali kapag tahimik ang paligid. Hindi sila mawawalan ng topic sa akin nito.

Baka snobber pa ang Papa niya. Hindi ko na nga halos kinaya noong si Hailes palang sinisikapan ko. Paano pa kaya sila? Baka mauubusan ako ng pera sa bangko nito..

"I can come with you sa airport. Let's meet you father together." I smiled and nodded at him.

He opened the door of his car for me before he went to the other side. He started the engine before we left the campus.

Alam niyo. Marami akong napansing bago kay Hailes. He wasn't the person I pictured in my mind. I thought he'll remain cold and aloof in a relationship. I thought he'll be the dominant one. But guess what, I was wrong.

He's very soft and really talkative whenever he's with me. He is very gentle and suave towards me. I didn't get to hear his dark voice anymore and everything he says always comes out sincere.

Maybe this only shows when he's with the people he loves. And I'm very thankful to be one of them..

Isa, ito nga pala ang sinayang mo. Salamuch!

"I'll text you if I'm already outside your house," He said and entered our subdivision.

"What should I wear? I forgot that all of my clothes are already packed inside the boxes for the charity." I told, mentally cursing. "Pwede pambahay lang? Yung batman na pajama?" I joked.

"Kapag pipili ka ng damit dapat parang ako." He told before parking infront of our house. He looked at me before continuing, "Simple lang pero bagay sayo."

I felt my cheeks burn so I looked away from him. Shota nasaan ‘to natuto bumanat?! Baka sasabog na ako sa kilig!

"Okay, pajama na talaga ang susuotin ko.."
