CHAPTER 28

"Congratulations." Isa greeted as she walk towards me with Hailes beside him.

I felt my eyes fumed. Kumunot ang noo ko nang pinagmamasdan silang pumunta sa harap ko. Malaki ang ngisi ni Isaiah sa kanyang labi.

I tried to look away first, trying to calm myself. Okay lang, hindi naman sa bawal siyang makipagkita sa ibang mga babae. Pero bakit yan nandito? Sino nag-invite?

Pero naalala ko ulit ang sinabi nila Ace... you have your own reasons why you befriend her again. Actually, he's right. Baka mayroon ngang rason si Hailes bakit nakipagbati siya ulit kay Isa.. Pero mayroon talagang isang rason na ayaw lumabas ng utak ko. What if he still loves her?

Paano naman ako? Ginawa rin bang kabit? Naks naman. Magkapatid talaga kami ni kuya!

Umiling agad ko noong napagtanto ang iniisip ko. Hindi naman diba tanga si Hailes para magmahal ng dalawa sabay-sabay? I love him so much that I trust him. Okay lang, hindi naman talaga kami official.

I forced a smile, "Thanks."

"Congratulations to both of you, as well." I heard Hailes snorted at her statement.

Right. Congrats self, may boyfriend kana! Pero ano ba tong relasyon namin. I can't even tell if this is right without knowing what's going on between the both of them. And, I can't seem to share this thoughts of mine to Hailes. Nahihiya ako. It's not like I have the right to meddle.

"Thanks," I simply told before picking up my own duffle bag.

Hailes went up to me and took the camera from his neck. He placed it to my neck then took the duffle bag. "I have a lot of pictures of you there. Maganda silang lahat."

"Ay 'di nga? Baka maganda lang siguro ang nasa picture." I teased, opening the camera.

"Hindi mo sure.." Tinawanan ko ang sagot niya.

"Sige, una na 'ko!" Paalam ni Isa at tinapik si Hailes bago kumindat. Inirapan ito ni Hailes at ibinaling ang tingin sa akin.

"She's just teasing me as usual." He pouted which made me chuckle. "Let's eat first? Where do you want to go? Sa labas nalang kaya tayo kakain."

"Okay pero may aabutin lang akong pera kay Kesior." I told while looking at the pictures he took earlier.

A smile slowly rose on my face as I check each pictures. It was beautiful. The lighting really matched every angle he took. It's funny how he did some weird angles. He also took pictures of our friends, especially Yael and Stella who has a banner with my face on it.

Wow.. I just got myself a photographer boyfriend..

"Diba that's for his lunch?" I nodded before closing the camera. "Ah, I already payed it."

I blinked, "What?"

"Binayaran ko na. 500 binigay ko." He replied.

"Bakit mo binayaran siya?"

"I'm the reason why you pay him, right? Because you want the three of us get back together." I nodded at his words. "I just thought baka wala ka nang pera. Kawawa naman wallet mo. Palaging nawawala ang 500."

I rolled my eyes. "May laman pa naman." I tried to reach for my wallet and shake it. "Mabigat pa."

Hailes laugh before taking the wallet out of my hand and placed it back inside my bag that he had been carrying.

"Let's go. I'll pay for our food this time."

Hindi ko na siya tinigilan. Pumunta kami sa kotse niyang nakaparada sa labas parking lot ng paaralan. Binuksan niya ito at pinalamig muna kasi grabe ang sikat ng araw. Nilagay niya ang duffle bag sa likod pati na rin ang bag ko bago pumasok kami sabay sa kotse.
