Pete POV

I feel weirded out still. I can't stop thinking of what's going on between Vegas and Porsche i don't know if i have the nerve to ask any of them what's going on.

If they are hidding it for me it's because they are definitly up something and i will sort that out. I am going to talk about this to Khun Kinn so i have green signal to do all i need to find this out.

I knock in the door of Khun Kinn's office.

-Khun Kinn- i bow as i enter the office.

-Is this about Vegas and Porsche, Pete?- he asks serious, but how does he even know that?

-Yes Khun Kinn, i think something-

-I know- he cut me out- we need to keep this between us. As a your leader i will not forbid you to do anything but i will not send you in mission either. 

-I promised Porsche i would trust him but you do you Pete, i will not forbid you- he said.

This surprised me. So does he know about me and Vegas? Well it doesn't matter because i have to hurry up and start doing something about this. If Khun Kinn trusts Porsche i should do the same with Vegas. But he might need my help so i will not restrain myself. And trust is something i still haven't fully understood or found.

Even if he hates me later- i will help me.

I see Porsche sneaking out of the major family house and i follow him. Khun Kinn said i could do whatever i wanted and that's exactly what i am doing.
As i follow Porsche in one of the family's car Porsche stops by his house and goes in.
How can i find what this matter is about? Useless.
I should have tracked their phones or something. I might need to ask Arm for help.
They both come out and i decided i will be following Vegas.
Its weird. He is going inside a shopping and its early in the afternoon.
Is he hiding something else? This is tiring me.

Vegas POV
I know Pete has been following us as Porsche warned me in his old house.
That means Pete is partially aware of what we are doing.
That relivies me in one hand but frightens me in the other.
I don't want him to get involved. I want him to be safe- this is much more than major family against minor family. This is about my father and Porsche's family.
As much people get involved it might worsen everything.
I get into a southern restaurant to buy food for Pete since he has been stalking me anyways.
He might be starving.
I pay for the food and leave to his car.
He hides but i knock in the window.
-Pete i bought you food. You might be hungry by now.
Pete kept hide but i insisted and he showed up embarassed.
-Vegas what a coincidice. Khun Kinn sent me in mission today. What are you doing here?
-Pete we are dating for gods sake! I know what you are up to. We need to talk. Follow me.
We both drive in each of our cars to the minor family house and i take discretly to my secret room.
That room is where i have been hiding many things from my father.
-Can you tell why are you following me?-i ask him calm.
-I wasn't following you exactly. I was checking if you needed my help.
-Its the same Pete. Why don't you trust me?- i ask him still calm.
-You want to talk about trust? What trust? The fact that i caught you with Porsche or the fact that you two are hiding something from me and Khun Kinn?- he is furious.
-Pete we are trying to protect you and Kinn. This is more than you can handle.
-Oh so Porsche can but i cant? Because he is always better than i am.
-No Pete. This is about him too. He is involved in all of this. We are working together to find the truth quickly. It has nothing to do with you.
-I am your boyfriend Vegas so it does concern me. Do you even know how i feel? You don't care! In the end you will never trust me enough- Pete said crying.
-Its not like that Pete. Stop saying such things, you know its not true. Please just try to understand you cant know about this matter.
-I am the head bodyguard of Khun no, i am strong and i will not let you use the safety excuse. If you want to get your way with Porsche so much just say it.
If you plan is to lure him into a bullshit plan you might as well pretend i do not exist- Pete is crying a lot and tears are flowing down endlessly.
I scoup his face wipping his tears away and caressing his face.
-Pete its not like that. I and Porsche are a team. He has Kinn and i have you. This is a war zone Pete. I know you are strong but i cant help worrying about you!- i say.
-You have to choose- you tell me whats going on or you protect your little secret with Porsche and you'll never see me again- Pete said angrily.
-Pete you cant do this. Lets take time to think okay? Calm down and we'll talk later. This is about me and my family too Pete. Do you understand?

Pete POV
I am tired. So tired i just sigh and my knees give up on me.
I stumble.
-Choose- i say still crying.
-Pete, ask me for anything but not to choose between my family or you please.
-You want to protect a father that hurt you?- i shout.
-He is my father Pete. I will find the truth about my family whatever it costs.
-You made your choice Vegas. Good luck then- i place my lips on his and leave.
He chose what he wanted and i will do the same.

End of chapter. BUBBLES don't kill me! From now on the chapters are going to be hella intense unfolding many crazy things that will differ from the original novel btw.
