The Life Of Danielle Martin

Rodrigo and Danielle begin dating.

"Uhhhh" Timmy said trying to diffuse the awkwardness.

"Timmy, why didn't you tell me that Danielle was right behind me."

"I didn't see her, I'm telling you the truth"

"You like me.danielle said.

Rodrigo took a deep breath and said
"Yes I like you danielle,I have liked you for a long time."

"Why didn't you tell me".

"Well,I wasn't sure how you would feel, and besides I didn't really believe in love at the time, it's kind of a long story".

"but you have a girlfriend"

"I broke up with her."

"Wow,I don't really know what to say"

"Say u will go out with me"

"Can I think about it" she said.

"Sure, why not".
After Rodrigo left, Timmy came up to Danielle.

"What are you doing".

"What are you talking about".

"Hello! It's Rodrigo,we are talking here, haven't you been pining for him since school started".

"I wouldn't go that far".
Timmy just rolled her eyes.

"Come on, Danielle what's going on,I'm your best friend you can tell me anything, it's there someone else?"Timmy asked quirking an eyebrow.

"I don't know, maybe"

"Who?is it that Chris guy,do you like him too?"

"Too many questions at once"

"Just answer the question".

"I don't know maybe,the guy is sweet"

"That doesn't answer the question".

"Timmy, can you just stop stressing me out ok".

"Ok fine,I will leave you to gather your shit together and figure out what you want." and with that timmy turned on her heels and left the hallway.

Through out the day, danielle was lost in thought, she couldn't even concentrate on classes.She knew Chris liked her and she liked him too right?.She also liked Rodrigo a lot and a part of her was so excited that Rodrigo liked her too,but another part of her was still wary, after all he did say he didn't believe in love.

"Hey, what's up you seem lost in thought".Chris said interrupting her from her train of thoughts.

"Oh it's nothing".

"Come on danielle,we are friends right."

"Ok, but promise it won't make things awkward between us".

"I promise, now tell me what happened".

"Rodrigo, said that he liked me and he asked me out".

"Oh"Chris said trying to hide the disappointment in his face.

"What did you tell him"he continued.

"I told him I would think about it".

"So what are you going to do".

"What do you think I should do".

"It depends on you, follow your heart and whatever you choose I will support you 100%.

"Thanks Chris".

"You are very welcome."He said as they shared a hug.

That night, Danielle was still deep in thought,who was she going to choose.She didn't sleep until she came to a conclusion.
The next morning she walked up to Rodrigo and said.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"So about what you said, did you mean it."

"Of course, I meant it Danielle I really like you,I have for a long time."

"Then in that case I like you too".

"Really!,I hope you are not saying it because I said I liked you."

"Of course not I've liked you for a really long time, I mean I know it's a bit cheesy but that's the truth."

"Danielle you don't know how happy this has made me, tell you what let's go on a date, there's this new restaurant that opened up, let's go there".

"New means expensive,are you sure about that."

"Of course am sure, I've been saving up".

"In that case, pick me up at 8."
The date turned out pretty good but all this time, danielle couldn't stop thinking about chris.
She really hoped she made the right choice, but she liked rodrigo and wanted to see where their relationship was going to lead to.

Now comes the hard part, telling chris.
