Her personality confuses people but I have seen her closely something inside her is damaged and only she can fix herself. No one in the entire world can change you without you wanting to change yourself, that's the case with Ishita. I don't want her to feel crushed by me but instead feel safe and free to express to me whatever she feels. I feel a connection with her and it drags me toward her or just the consequences of my mother filling my head with marriage thoughts every day once a day and night. I think she's playing some psychological game with me manifesting for a daughter-in-law.

Yash passed me a cup of coffee, "Ready to meet that psychopath..." I nodded and sipped my coffee. Rakhi, the girl who played the role in my brother's downfall was sitting in a room with three female policewomen and two male investigators. She looked up with trembling hands as we entered the room, I chose to do this meeting in my farmhouse away from the city because it's close to the sea and the work becomes easier to dispose of a dead body.

"Tsk, tsk... they found a girl like you for this job... at first glance, I can say my brother can't get attracted towards you..." she lowered her head rubbing her hands whimpering. "Sir... my mother's ill... I didn't have money; my father is a drunkard he doesn't give us a penny. I worked as a maid in their house, and the head maid asked me to earn quick money so I agreed to do anything they asked. At first, they asked me to serve drinks to the people who came to their houses then they started demanding more." She sobbed and wiped her tears.

A/N: I won't be writing any rape, violence, or crime scenes as last time you guys gave me a hard time so use your imaginations. (Dramatic author)

"Sir... they asked me to do the same thing that day in the hotel as they used to do with me..." she busted crying. "I-I... didn't want to do... but..." a policewoman shuts her and she silenced whimpering. I won't have handled this case easily but she posted a video on Facebook that went viral. Now I need to clean the mess created by her, "Listen... if you will cooperate with us... then things can be good for you. Now you will do as we will tell you, I want the names and locations of the places mostly his men used to gather for drinks which are mostly his brothels. You will accept your crime and speak as we will tell you then I might help you get out of jail before time and pay your mother's hospital charges". She glimpsed at us with red puffy eyes and nodded instantly.

Yash asked walking inside the car, "What will you do with their names and location?". I passed him my phone, "I won't do anything you will, call the DSP and tell him we have the names and locations of places he needs to do an incursion. Make another call and inform the reporters that the girl has confessed everything to the police officers after her father admitted that the money her daughter got from the scholarship is from a political party that tried to ruin Aadesh Goel's image forever. Rest you know..." he nodded and aligned calls.

I didn't have much to do for rest of the day so I headed home early. A pleasant smell of incense sticks was spread across the hall and veranda. Heading inside my room I changed into casual denim and sneakers to go on out with Aditya. Searching for him I reached near the open white marble temple, he was sitting next to Mom and Pandit Ji (priest). Aditya is the most loved member of the Goel family and the most spoilt child as well.

His intermediate exams were over and he was looking for admission to the University of Delhi. Mom opened her eyes and saw me patting her hand on the seat next to her she dragged me making me sit. Pandit Ji read some shlokas and blessed Aditya while he tried to pick the sweets from the plate in front of him. Mom glared at him, he instantly puts it back and looked at me. I tried to distract Mom so he can eat the sweets, "Mom... why is puja all of a sudden? Any good news..." she joins her hand and mumbled, "For the good news, you need to marry first but don't worry I won't mind it without marriage..." for past few days her day starts and end with the thought of my marriage.

She saw my drained colors, "Aree... Merabacha... I was kidding... sorry... I will not say it ever again okay..." scrunching my nose I hugged her. "Don't mention it..." she smiled and pats my cheeks till then Aditya emptied the plate. Mom looked between us both, "You two..." and before she could say anything we both ran out of the temple.
