"Psst, Isa!  come on! let's go!" There he stood, the gray eyes flickering at me mischievously. I felt butterflies in my stomach. Weird.

Sirius Black, with his best mate, James Potter was flying on James's  Comet Two Ninety, the one which came out 3 months ago. I widened my eyes. Merlin, did they just sneak out of James's Manor?

"Sirius James? Bloody hell, what are you two doing here? You could get in trouble. Sirius, you already made your parents furious. Dromeda told me they were here a few hours ago. I don't want to get you in more trouble. There are people here, most importantly, Death Eaters." I whispered-shouted at them, my voice filling with concern and a hint of happiness. It had only been seven days since I had returned from Hogwarts, and I was already miserable, missing all of my friends, of course.

Sirius grinned at me and said, "Oh, come on! I know that you'll choose us anytime over your git brother and those ugly snakes, Isa." James snickered behind him, clearly amused by Sirius's teasing. I felt a twisting sensation in my stomach as I looked back at Sirius, my thoughts racing. Did he really mean what he said? Was he just joking around? And why did I suddenly feel like I had butterflies in my stomach? I couldn't help but wonder if there was more to Sirius's words than met the eye.

I stood there, staring at the two boys in front of me, feeling conflicted. My mother's hatred for the Potters and their Gryffindor nephew was well-known, and associating with them was strictly forbidden. But James and Sirius were some of my best mates out there, and it was not that I was having much fun being here.

"What am I supposed to do?" I asked, feeling a sense of helplessness. "I can't just tell my mother that I'm going to visit her enemies. She'll never allow me to go with you guys."

Sirius let out a dramatic sigh, while James looked at me with concern. "We understand it's a risk," James said, "But I am sure that you're dreading back here Isa."

I slowly walked towards them, my lips curving into a slight smile. "I know," I said. "But how do we convince my mother to let me go?"

The boys exchanged a glance before Sirius spoke up. "We'll have to come up with a plan. And as you already know, our plans are always legit brilliant, we'll figure something out."

I smirked in a playful fashion, feeling a sense of relief. James and Sirius always had a way of figuring things out. But the thought of deceiving my mother made me uneasy.

Sirius suddenly got a mischievous spark on his face as he exchanged a look with James, I bit my lip. They're gonna say something ridiculous for sure.

"Come on Isa, just tell them that you're visiting Snivellius. She would be more than pleased, and I'm inviting my lily flower too! Surely, I'll ask her out this time!" James spoke with a determination on his face that I had never seen before, not even during our exams. What a drama queen.

"Please, stop calling Severus "Snivellius". Honestly, I don't even know why you both despise him so much! He's one of the nicest and most decent Slytherins I've ever seen, along with Andromeda! James, you seriously need to stop troubling Lily. She has sent almost 50 letters about how you sent a big box of chocolate frogs, pumpkin pasties, and a cardboard version of yourself! Her family now thinks that she has a boyfriend and she was honestly furious! And don't get me started on how many letters you've sent to me to deliver to Lily!" I ranted, glaring at James in disbelief. I almost saw Sirius grinning at me, but it was gone in a flash. Weird.

"Oh, she's literally in love with me, Isa. But, what specifically was written in those letters, may I ask? Oh, Merlin! Did she like that massive licorice broom on which mine and her name were carved? Oh, I know she must have loved it! And please, tell her to give her parents a good introduction about their son-in-law. I don't want our first impressions to get ruined, Isa. And don't tell me you didn't deliver the love poem I sent you?" James boasted while his eyes twinkled. Lord, he's so much in love with Lily, he even has imagined himself marrying her in the future now. I wonder what their child would look like.

I couldn't help but giggle and shake my head when I caught Sirius staring at me from the corner of my eye. My cheeks turned red, but I quickly reminded myself that we were just cousins and he didn't have feelings for me. He was probably just lost in thought. Just as James was about to express his feelings for Lily, a cold and icy voice interrupted us from the dinner hall.

"Isabelle, get out of that book hole this instant! I will not tolerate disobedience, especially in front of our guests."

My eyes widened as I exchanged glances with Sirius and James, who looked dumbstruck as ever. It was my mother. I straightened my wrinkled dress and I whisper-shouted at both of them,

I urgently whispered "Quick, hide!" to both of them, gesturing towards a nearby hiding spot. I then quickly called out "Coming, mother!" to avoid any suspicion and made my way towards where my mother stood, surrounded by a group of unexpected individuals. Among them was a girl who seemed to be around my age, but her constant nose scrunching suggested that she came from another pure-blood family with a snobbish attitude. As I approached the group, I couldn't help but notice the expensive, luxurious robes and haughty expressions of the people around my mother. I took a deep breath and prepared to face the challenges that awaited me.

I turned to face my mother and asked in a calm but curious tone, "What happened, Mother?" My gaze scanned the room, taking in the various individuals present. The first person I noticed was a woman who appeared to be around my mother's age. She was dressed in extravagant clothing and wore a look of skepticism on her face as she studied me. Next, I saw a man who looked like a rat, his beady eyes darting around nervously as he cowered behind the woman. Finally, my attention was drawn to a young girl who kept shooting me dirty looks. I couldn't help but wonder what had brought this strange group of people together.

"Isabelle, you and your brother will be staying at the Greengrass's house this summer. This place is not suitable for you both at the moment, and I think you understand what I'm saying. The elves have already packed your bags for your stay at the Manor. You'll be leaving tomorrow morning. Please inform your brother and bring Gwen along. You will live at the Greengrass Manor until further notice. Blagden will pick you up tomorrow," Mother said, pointing to the rat-like man who reluctantly nodded in response. My mother looked at him with disgust and strutted to the Dinner hall with the other witch. They were probably gossiping about blood traitors or something.

My mind was filled with a flurry of thoughts.

The Greengrass family was a well-respected and affluent wizarding family in England, known for their magical abilities and social standing. They were a part of the Sacred Twenty-Eight, a group of pureblood families who were highly regarded in the wizarding community. However, their accomplishments were often overshadowed by the Malfoys, who were considered the most powerful and influential family in the wizarding world.

But of course, the Greengrass family had a dark history. Some of the purebloods of this clan were among the first to join the dark lord, and this association brought them under scrutiny from the wizarding community. Despite this, they were welcomed by the dark side of course, but of course, not all members of the family were involved in this dark chapter of history.

Like one of my great-grandmothers, Lana Greengrass. She went off her affluent blood status and became a muggle writer and married my great grandfather, Salvatore Malfoy, who was immediately disowned by our ancestry when he chose to be with Lana and live in the muggle world. But I respected both of them highly.

But there was a tragic secret of this certain clan that only some knew, the Greengrass family was affected by a mysterious curse that affected their daughters. Blood Malediction, this curse was a closely guarded secret among pureblood families, and the Greengrasses were understandably hesitant to reveal it to the public. The curse made the ladies of the clan unable to give birth, and they used black magic to keep their prestigious family going. They feared that disclosing this information would lead to their exclusion from the Sacred Twenty-Eight, which was a significant source of their power and status.

But, Something struck my mind.

My goodness, how am I supposed to endure another summer with a bunch of close-minded, snobbish Pure-bloods? Holy cricket.
