TO SAY THAT ELLA AND LEO WERE UNPREPARED OF HOW BIG THE THREAT THEY were facing was an understatement. They had caught the duo unprepared, taking them in, leaving the small settlement in Northern California vulnerable for the taking.

She heard the familiar voice, the one she truly feared.

Birdy.

She heard Leo's screams of pain, and she wasn't able to move. Didn't matter how much she tried, she couldn't move. She wants to get him out, get him to safety, just as he's done for her, many times.

"Little Rogers." The familiar voice told her in a sing-song voice, she felt her heart rate increase. She stared at the man in horror, "you've missed me, my child?" He asks her. She hated when he spoke to her in Russian, and calls her little Rogers, he only did it to taunt her. "When I'm done with you, you'll never miss me." He tells her in English. She halted at him, and as her eyes moved around the room, she was hooked up to strange machines. Her eyes panic. "You and Rob will always carry me with you." He told her out of her eyesight, and she felt the burn begin, and she couldn't help but cry in silence.

She couldn't move, but she mustered up all her strength to say "Fuck you." Clearly to Birdy, a small smile displayed on her face, until she felt the burn until she couldn't handle it anymore and passed out.

Birdy couldn't help but smirk at her defiance, she'd always been one of his favorites, as had Leo and her twin brother, Jamie.

LEO WOKE UP TIED TO A HOSPITAL BED, TERRIFIED OUT OF HIS MIND. HE DOESN'T EVEN know how he got there. He remembers he woke up earlier, in pain, yelling, and then he was administered a mild sedative to freeze his body, but he was still awake, and he still felt pain. He remembers his yelling, and Birdy.  He can remember feeling helpless like when he was, especially as a child of a widow. When he was with the red room and hydra, he hated every bit of it

Birdy. That motherfucker. How he called him his child he could only glare at him.

Leo glares at Birdy as he goes into his villain speech. Leo had done so much work to right his wrongs, to be better.

"You'll be my perfect image, the perfect child," Birdy tells him in Russian.

Leo glares at him, "I have a mom! I have a family."

"You're my child Leonard," Birdy tells him. "my perfect-"

"To hell with you, my mom is ... Diana Murdock, and ... Louise Brown." He says between pants of pain, he felt as if he was burning from the inside. "I'm... not ... your ... child!" He yells out in pain, before clenching his teeth, he grips them so hard he feels like they might crack like cartoon teeth. His eyes feel very heavy, and he tries staying awake, till he can't anymore and evidently he passes out, not being able to tolerate the pain and burning sensation.

Leo looks down at the IV in his arm, his eyes follow the IV line, to a clear bag, empty now. "You shouldn't move." A voice tells him. He turns to look at the owner of the voice, it's a small boy, "you'll only make it worse." the small boy says, there's something about the boy that feels familiar. Oddly familiar.

"You're not real," Leo told him closing his eyes shut, and opening them hoping to see him gone, only for the child closer to him.

"But I am real Robby." He says. There are only two people who called him Robby, and neither of the blondies is standing before him, "I am you, and you are me." He says scaring the absolute crap out of Leo. His breathing became shallow, and he tries controlling his breathing.

JAMIE HADN'T GOTTEN ANY UPDATES OF THE WHEREABOUTS OF LEO OR ELLA, WHICH was extremely strange, those two were extremely punctual with check-ins. It's been since Lu and Stephan had arrived, and Lu had already gone back, it's been weeks at this point.

"We got a message, we need to go. They were taken." Natasha says running into the room and alerting Jamie and Bucky. Bucky's jaws clenched, "get to the bus, we're going to California." Natasha says before running to find Matt, he was in charge of looking after Leo. He needed to be notified as Diana and Louise were both on assignment.

ALL FOUR OF THEM SAT ON THE BUS, MAY PILOTED, JEMMA AND NATASHA DEBRIEFED the group the message they got from the settlement in Northern California, by one of their people. How Ella and Leo disappeared in the middle of the night and the little evidence left behind. Once they arrived the team got to inspecting the room, Natasha, and Jamie looked over the room thoroughly.

BIRDY RAN THROUGH THE HALLWAY AS A INJURED OVERPOWERED BLOODY ELLA WAS after him. "Run Birdy run." Ella whispers terrifying the older man. "Once I get my hands on you, no one's stopping me." She was wicked. She wasn't exactly sure what Birdy did to her, but she felt strong, and something inside her changed. She wasn't sure if it was for the better or the worse, yet. But she knew, it made Birdy scared, running for his life. Leaving behind his staff, who was working for him, she had taken care of them earlier. She felt the rage inside of her only grow more, and the look.

"Where is he?" She asks wanting him to stop, Birdy freezes in his spot, and she tilts her head a little to the left, confused as to why Birdy stopped. She felt powerful but weak at the same time. "I asked you a question!" She exclaims angrily.

Birdy had never been scared of the blonde girl, the one he helped create, but at this moment he felt fear. He was scared of what he had created, but his scientific curiosity or ego did win him over. He felt pride, seeing her anger in her, as well as the new abilities being displayed.
