Now I just want to go and fly to California.

Gusto ko nang bumilis ang oras, I want to be in a peaceful place again. Gusto kong makawala sa lugar na 'to. I'm starting to breakdown again.

I received a message from Wia. "Seah, guess what? I have a good news for you." That's what written on her message. Since I am not in the mood, I didn't reply.

Few minutes after I received a message from her again but this time she spill what the good news is.

"I told your Dad about our outing. He said you are busy for two months since you have so many paperworks to do but he said you can go once I invited you to go, girl you can just leave the paperworks and your dad's secretary will finish it for you! I know you Seah, you will finish it no matter what but I am telling you don't waste so much energy or maybe you can, your choice. "

"Ah, another one. I know you don't want to come with me 'that' much but girl we'll travel so you can't say no to me right and yeah everything is settled so you can't say no anymore. Maybe a week or two from now, we can go there and enjoy the place while my family member is still here in the city."

"I heard the news about the scandal, don't worry I did take down the shits. No need to be depress anymore!"

"Love you Seah! I'm always here for you!"

Those are her messages to me. I smiled because she really knows me.

I want to go there now. I want to be demanding but I just can't leave this files. Nakakahiya rin sa secretary ni Dad.

"Seah? Are you in your room?" I heard Mom calling and knocking in my door. I was about to go near the door when I heard her sobbing.

"Seah I know you're not showy as Danna but Seah, always remember that Mom is here okay? You can always consult your thoughts to me. I will always listen. I might be not the best mom but I can always listen to you especially this times. I'm not mad at you, you are just having fun I can see it in the images. Don't worry, I will talk to your father. Don't be mad to him okay? He's just worried about you and our reputation. Good night, Seah. Sweet dreams, daughter. " She said and the footsteps are gone.

I just saw myself crying my eyes out because of the words that I received tonight.

It's hard. It's suffocating for me. It really is, but I know, I can surpass this one.

Minsan ayos rin na mayaman kami at kayang-kaya agad nilang itago at ipabura ang mga fake news o ang mga articles na pwedeng makasira sa isa sa amin. But the fact that people will still criticize us for being something, that's insane.

Hinayaan kong mapagod ang sarili ko sa kakaiyak hanggang sa nakumbinsi ako na umpisahan at tapusin na lang ang mga files, bawas gawain.

It's already 3 AM yet I am still fully awake. Walang kape o kahit na ano sa tabi ko maliban ang phone ko na kanina pa tunog ng tunog. It's late yet I still receive calls and messages from different person.

Can they just stop? I'm tired.

I realized that it's already 7 AM and I already finished fifty plus files.

As expected, one of our maid will knock and ask me for a breakfast but I refuse.

"I'm fine po, kukuha na lang ako sa baba kung magugutom man ako." Sagot ko sabay ngiti sa kaniya at harap ulit sa monitor ko.

Gusto kong mapagod kaka-trabaho sa files na ito. Ayaw kong mag-isip ng kung ano-ano kaya ito na lang ang naiisip kong dahilan para makaiwas.

"Seah, morning!" Danna said and she lay down to my bed.

"Good morning, how's your sleep?" I asked her while tapping my keyboard.

"Not that good. I was busy the whole night, I barely sleep. You?" She said and asked back.

"I didn't sleep since the day before yesterday." I answered.

She gasped and teleport to my side. "What? You didn't sleep?" She said and check my eyes. "Girl! It's black!" She commented.

"What black?" I asked dumbfounded.

"Eyebags! Bakit hindi ka natulog? Did you drink coffee?" Tanong niya at tumango ako. I drank macchiato, pero isa na rin sa rason kung bakit hindi ako natulog dahil gusto ko ngang magpaka-pagod.

"I'm fine, I still have energy." Sagot ko na lang para matigil na siya.

"Paano 'yan? Auntie is inviting us again to her house. Lunch, she said."

Tumango ako ng marahan, "Saved. Okay, noted! Sabay ba tayo o may dadaanan ka pa?" Tanong ko sa kaniya.

"Ilang files na ang natatapos mo?"

"Almost a hundred, I guess? Small files lang naman mga ginawa ko pero sobrang dami nila kaya natagalan ako. Why?" I asked.

She shakes her head, "You are so serious to it. Anyways, may dadaanan pa ako. Mauna ka na lang siguro, exact eleven or maybe early twelve." Sabi niya at dahan-dahan na pumunta sa pintuan ko.

"Noted, thanks." Sagot ko lang sabay tango sa kaniya.

"Seah, I heard you crying last night. Danna's here for you okay?" She said and closed the door.

I smiled.

I'm fine right now, I already forgot what happened. No. I choose to forget about it.

Since I already finished my work. I will take a nap first before I went out and go to Aunt's house.

I wake up and my head feels heavy. Para akong may hang-over sa sakit ng ulo ko.

Napatingin ako sa orasan at halos magulat ako ng makitang alas-sais na ng gabi. Hindi gumana ang alarm ko kaninang ten ng umaga.

I get my phone and ring Danna's number.

"Danna-"

"You just woke up right? Don't worry Auntie said she understands. We're still here makakahabol ka ba for dinner?" Sabi niya ng tuloy-tuloy.

I sigh. It's a relieved that she understands me. "Yes. I'll bring my car with me, tell Auntie I'll be there in an hour."

"Okay! Dress properly Seah, may new guys dito." She said.

"I'll hang up now." Sabi ko.

I have no interest in men right now, Mas gusto ko pang tumanda na mag-isa. Hindi naman required na magkaroon ng kasama sa buhay.

I'm being cold-hearted again.

I spend my time getting ready. I'll just go to my Aunt's house for a simple family dinner.

Simple lang ulit ang suot ko, polo for my top and a mom jeans for my bottom and a white sneakers. I get my mini bag.

"Ready." I whispered to myself.

Hindi naman naging hassle ang byahe dahil kahit papaano ay hindi pa rush hour.

When I arrived at their house ipinaubaya ko na sa butler ang sasakyan ko.

"Oh, sorry." He said and slightly nod to me.

"It's okay." I answered and didn't look back to him, instead I keep on walking.

I don't know who he is so there's no reason to talk to him. Siguro isa siya sa mga sinasabi ni Danna kanina.

"Jah! Come here!" That's what I heard while Auntie is looking at me.

Late ko ng na-realize na hindi ako ang tinatawag ni Auntie dahil bigla na lang itong kumaway-kaway.

It was the guy from my behind.

Jah? Name is familiar but nevermind.

Kung kelan ko siya nakatabi ay tsaka naman kumulo ang tyan ko. Gosh. I'm really hungry!

I heard his little laugh before he go to Auntie.

Did he just laugh because of what he heard? How could that guy laugh at me?
