"remember to meet back at this area by 7:00 PM. now, you can all go have fun." mr ajayi, one of our counselors on the trip, announces. today is the first day we actually spend here since we arrived yesterday. and i guess we just do whatever we want for hours here.
nick and i were both planning to spend the day here alongside each other. and i'm excited for that.

so nick and i basically just spent hours running around the entire disneyland buying food, going on every single ride, and simply acting like two fucking idiots. it's gotten to 6:30 PM and nick and i decide to go to the ferris wheel for our last ride.
a couple minutes into the ride he kisses me. which we haven't done in a long time.
"can i ask you a question?" i ask him.
"of course," he says and smiles.
"does this mean we're.. dating?" i ask.
he looks at me weirdly. shit. i've fucked up again. he chuckles. oh god, i'm embarrassing.
"obviously," he says. "was that not already established?"
"i don't know, we never like- confirmed it or anything." i respond. he chuckles which makes me chuckle along with him.
"oh god, why are we like this?" i say while laughing.
nick and i. our relationship is so simply and awkward but that's what i love about it. i love this. i love us. and we've finally put a label on our relationship.
