*Father's Day 2020 shortly after bingo's retirement*
Loki, Bingo and jack are headed to the Los Angeles zoo!
Loki at this point is really quiet and shy due to his trauma. But is a lot more open then he was months prior when he first came to live with them!
Bingo: are ya excited for your first trip to the zoo sweet pup?
Loki; yeah...
Jack: you alright mate?
Loki: yes daddy.. just a bit nervous!
Bingo: aww don't be nervous sweetheart! It'll be fun!
Loki wags his little tail as they pull into the parking lot
The zoo is relatively crowded! lots of fathers and sons are seen together
Jack unbuckles Loki's seatbelt and scoops him up as they get his wheelchair
Loki can roll but Jack just likes carrying him!
They approach and enter the zoo after using their tickets.
Loki: it smells funny here! *giggles*
Bingo; that's all the animals hun!
Loki: oh ok!
They went around seeing all the animals! They then met up with Bandit, Chili, Bluey ,jean, hunter, Thomas, Jaxson, and Alfie!
Bandit; hey guys!
Bingo; hi dad! *hugs bandit*
Jack sets Loki down in his chair so he can stretch out And shakes bandit's hand
As the adults talk The pups hug and talk as well!
Hunter: did you see gorillas yet?
Loki: nah not yet! I wanna see the hippos!
Jaxon: hippos?
Loki: yeah!
Jaxson: I heard hippos cut huge farts!
The boys and of course Thomas being a kid at heart crack up
Thomas; they do!
Alfie: these two are so blunt! *giggles*
Chili: always have been! *chuckles*
Jaxson: Loki you kind of look like a seal!
Bandit; a seal?
Jaxson; let me show ya! *folds Loki's ears back*
Loki: *giggles* art art art! *claps*
Everyone giggles bingo and the girls getting pictures of the pups and their cute shenanigans
As they all explore the zoo they finally made it to the hippos
The hippos swam, ate and roamed their enclosure
(Random note: Not sure if they have hippos at the la zoo. I've only been to the big bear one in 2015 and the San Diego one when I was 2 lmao.)
Loki wagged his tail
Jack: why do ya like the hippos so much my boy? *giggles*
Loki: they're cute!
Jack; that's true!
Then a baby hippo rose from the water. And directly and curiously faced Loki
Jack knelt down next or Loki wrapping his arm around him
Bingo smiled softly and recorded to not let a single memory be lost from this day.
Loki: *softly* hi!
The baby hippo stared at Loki curiously
The Hippo's tongue popped out
Loki's tongue also popped out
Both of them; B L E P

Bingo: *squeals from the cutenes*
Bandit, chili and the others chuckle
Jack: *smiles Widely and kisses his son on the side of the head*
Loki giggled as the hippo sucked his tongue back in and went back to his mother who was watching him closely
Loki smiled and waved at the hippo as him and his mother went into the water and swam to eat a watermelon that the zookeepers fed them
Hunter: that was a certified blep moment!
Jack; hehe! It sure was! *pats the pups on the head*
Jean: very gentle for a hippo! It's funny that their some of the most dangerous land animals!
Loki: wow!
Thomas: we all know I'm the most dangerous land animal *smiles*
Jaxson; the most dangerous cuddle monster!
Alfie: *kisses thomas* he's also the most dangerous fluff ball!
Everyone chuckled as they moved on to see more animals
It was a fun and nice day. And a big bonding experience for Loki and Jack.
*later that night*
Bandit; how does raising canes sound?
Bingo; sounds good to me!
Alfie; sure!
Jack; Yeah!
Everyone especially Loki agreed to eat there!
Bandit; alrighty then! We'll meet ya there!
Everyone got into their cars and began heading to the restaurant
Bingo: how did ya like the zoo sweet pup?
Loki; it was absolutely amazing! That hippo was so cute! *takes a drink of apple juice from his souvenir cup*
Jack; I'm so glad you had fun mate! In absolutely love taking you guys out! All these business trips and other hard work sometimes keeps me from enjoying time with you! *sheds a tear*
Bingo; *places her paw on his shoulder* it's ok babe! You work hard to take care of us! Especially after I retired from the sheriff's office! We love you very much and appreciate everything you do for us! *kisses his cheek*
Loki: yeah! Your the best daddy i can ask for!
Jack: ok now you guys are gonna make me cry! *giggles and sheds more tears*
Jack was so happy to have his family
Bingo and Loki smiled
Jack couldn't wait for the puppy and bingo snuggles that he would get that night! They snuggled every night! But today was special!
It was truly an amazing fathers day! And the first of many to come!
