Ready for bed!
Expecting peaceful dreams
But instead, nightmares visit
A dream is a reflection of the days events
But a nightmare is a reflection of my inner thoughts
The overworked and screaming monsters
Monsters that just need a trip to Hawaii!
They don't need to hurt me anymore
They won't push me past the breaking point
Not again
I won't be trapped again
In that same terrifying room, that same terrifying closet
No more hiding
I'm coming out and pushing these monsters away
Sending them away
I won't die again
