My honesty is brutal
My words slap your face
Yet you never told me
That I was disgrace
Instead you lead me along
On a leash made of iron
Which I mistaked for towers
Made of our 'love'
Made of your Crimson flowers
I've told you before
That I'm not what you think
I'm not sane
I'm not pretty
Yet you still stand before me
Still believing in me
Respecting my truths
Embracing me with open arms
What I didn't know
Was that the only person I didn't deserve
Was already in my reach
Until you were gone
Until you left
