Don't Go Away

You always said that you were just one of them

Just another tree in the forest

Ready to be axed away

Ready to be thrown into the wood chipper

You never acted the same way

After that day

I knew it was tough

But I still wanted you to stay

Don't you see

You mean everything to me

You're to precious to be thrown away

Even the clouds breathe for you

The clouds cry with you

They shine with you

Maybe it's better to say that you are a cloud

An inspiring white that is always different from the rest

Just please don't dissipate in the past
