2 days later

Emily POV:
"Fields, get your ass over here!" My manager yells.

I'm in the NBA, best player on the team. Just getting that out there. I'm also a competitive swimmer. Best in the state. And I'm also a dancer. Busy all day everyday.

Alison is a designer as you know, she works with lots of celebrities.

"Yes, Sir?" I ask worried.

He replaces his frown with a large smile. "How are you suck a good player?!" He exclaims, and hugs me.

"It just comes naturally." I joke, and act like I'm wiping dirt off my shoulder as I pull away.

"Well, anyways. I called you over here to tell you something..." He pauses, and looks at me directly in the eyes. "Your paycheck for raised!" He yells.

I sigh in relief, and lightly push Blake, my manager.

"You asshole! I thought I was getting in trouble! You need to stop pulling that stunt!" I laugh.

"You need to stop falling for it." He chuckles.

"Touché, Hutch." I say, calling him by his last name.

"Alright, well. Get your ass back to work!" He laughs, and pats my shoulder.

"Later, Hutch!"

"Later, Fields."

I laugh, and continue practicing with my team.

"I'm open!"

---

Alison POV:
"Alison, just the person I was looking for!" Rebecca, one of my workers, exclaims.

I look at her funny and confused, seeing as I own the place.

"I'm joking." She says seriously with a look I can't quite place.
I think she's afraid of me...

"How can I help you?" I ask politely with a smile.

"I need to talk to you about my schedule." She says.

"Alright, sit." I say as I set the stack of papers down, and motion to the chair across from my desk.

"My sister is having a baby next week, and-"

"You need time off to visit her an help." I cut her off.

"Yeaahhh...?" She says, sounding inside, more questionably.

"That's fine. What days do you need off?"

"Really?! I mean, Monday through Friday. I apologize if that's too much." She mumbles.

"It's fine. Alright, all said and down. You're free to go!" I say cheerfully.

"Thank you so much!"

"Of course."

After she leaves the room and closes the door, I let out a breath, roll my eyes, and sigh as I start working on the papers again.

Maybe I should be nicer...Nahhh! Then they'll start slacking off.

A few hours later, and I'm done with my work.

Everyone leaves, and I lock up the store before leaving.

---

Emily POV:
I walk in the door, and the kids all run to me.

"Mama! Finally you're home!" Ashton exclaims.

"Nanny Sarah was getting kind of annoyyyiiinggg!" Bryn whispers.
