Midoriya walked up to the event looking as sharp as ever. He looked around the beautiful scenery of white Christmas lights and soft decor that spread the beautiful hall. He was definitely out of his comfort zone. He looked around and saw a small station selling small flower corsages. He raised an eyebrow and shrugged his shoulders.

These are those flower things that go on girls' wrist. Bakugo says she likes flowers right? I think she'll like it.

He smiled at the man after his purchase and began to look around once more but still didn't see Uraraka. He walked over to the refreshment station and saw they were pouring sake.

I guess there's no harm in this. It's only a little. I'm off duty.

He began to reach for the glass when he felt a small tap on his shoulder. He turned around and his breath hitched immediately and he thanked the Lord that he hadn't took a sip of his drink yet.

Uraraka stood absolutely breath taking with her long hair curled and pinned. Her makeup was done lightly but seemed to bring out her baby pink cheeks and big eyes even more. Her train followed her perfectly and the dress looked even more amazing than any adjective the seamstress could've used. The caramel color of the dress looked amazing on her. She seemed to be two inches taller than before but still two inches shorter than he was. She looked fresh off the red carpet ready to dazzle the crowd. If he wasn't so focused on her, he would see that she had already. Eyes looked upon the both of them but to him it was just...them.

He held out his hand with the alcohol, slightly shaking then blinked a couple of times.

"Sake?"

Uraraka put her hand over her mouth and began to giggle.

"Seems like you've already had some."

"N-No...not yet. I might have to start."

She laughed and took a step back with an adorable smile.

"Sooo...how do I look?", she asked nervously, unbeknownst to him.

He shook his head slowly and began to laugh.

"Are you asking me?", he asked in disbelief.

Uraraka nodded profusely and looked him straight in the eye to avoid losing her confidence. He relaxed his shoulders and gave a soft smile.

"I think you look beautiful. Like...perfect."

"Oh Deku, stop! You don't have to flatter me so much.", she exclaimed waving her hands.

"You do.", he said holding out the drink again. "You really do."

She took the drink finally breaking eye contact but an unwavering smile.

"Thank you. You look very...very...

handsome.", she whispered.

"I'm sorry?", he asked.

"I see you put the stuff I bought you in your hair!", she exclaimed. "You look so...different! Especially since the back of your hair was already cut shorter!"

"Is it a good different?"

"Yes! Yes, of course. I mean you always looked...um..."

He tilted his head to the side and crossed his arms.

Oh, please don't do that to me, she thought.

"I've always looked...", he asked with a smile.

He could finally see with his dense and naive eyes that he was making her nervous. It only took 24 chapters.
