Back at the House

"Alright. We're here.", Midoriya said.

"Thank you!", she smiled sliding off of him. "I really appreciate it."

Just be yourself, Izuku, he thought.

"Are you too tired to finish the house?", Uraraka asked breaking his thoughts.

"I'm fine. I thought you were sleepy.", he chuckled.

"Don't do that.", she snorted.

"If you want, I'm up for it."

"Yay!", she smiled grabbing the bag and running towards the table.

I hope this makes her happy, he thought with a small smile. It makes me happy at least. Spending more time with her. When we get back home, I hope we're not back to being strangers again.

He followed the girl into the kitchen and saw her standing near the table table, setting up all the stuff.

(SMALL TIME SKIP, THEY SHOWERED (separately, you freaks) , THEY'RE CLEAN. I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR ALL THESE SMALL DETAILS YALL LOL.  THEY ARE ALMOST FINISHED MAKING THE HOUSE.)

"This looks amazing.", Uraraka said in awe. "You have such a steady hand. You could be an artist."

"Thanks.", he beamed. "You definitely have a better shot though. These frosting designs look awesome."

Songs were playing low from the radio and the TV was practically watching them. Uraraka and Midoriya were sitting at the table putting frosting on the graham crackers and Uraraka suddenly got a text.

"It's my dad.", she laughed. "He's so funny. He sent me sad face GIF since I'm not around. He's so dramatic."

"That's sweet.", Midoriya chuckled. "My mom can be the same way. Except it'll be a GIF of her crying instead. I should probably text her."

"Ha! Don't get me started. My mom can be so emotional sometimes. I think that's where I get it from. Our moms' could be best friends."

"So your dad is dramatic and your mom is emotional.", he laughed.

"And they had me.", she laughed bowing slightly.

"Your parents seem like a lot of fun to hang around if they're anything like you.", Midoriya said with a half smile.

"Aw, don't flatter me.", she grinned blushing. "My parents are always so busy working for our family business. It's finally getting off the ground after all this time. My dad is the most hardworking person I know and my mom is the most supportive. I love them to pieces."

Midoriya nodded and smiled softly at her passion for her parents.

"What about you though?", she asked putting another piece of the house together. "What are your parents like?"

"Well, I actually only live with my mom, but she's the best."

"Oh, gosh. I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to assume.", she whispered.

"No-No! It's fine.", he assured. "They're still together! I just know my mom a lot better. I still practically consider my mom as my best friend even though I've made so many. She's...always there for me. She always tries to do what's best for me. My dad however, I just...

don't know too much about. He's working...overseas."

"Ohh.", she exhaled. "Okay. That's still so cool, though. Whenever he comes back to visit, I'm sure he'll have so many souvenirs and stories to tell you about."

"Plenty I'm sure.", he chuckled nervously.

"What does he do? If I may ask?"

Crap.
