Sumedh came out of closet wearing traditional red coloured kurti. He saw Swamini wearing a red coloured silk saree and stopped.
"Tum dekhti ho kya ki main kaunse colour ke kapde pehnane wala hoo aur matching pehnti ho?" Sumedh asked.
"Maine saree bahot pehle hi pehen li thi" Swamini defended.
"Accha?" Sumedh cocked his brow and stood behind her to look into mirror because she was occupying it "Yeh accha hai ki tumhari height mujhse thodi kam hai.. At least picche khade reh ke thoda bahot chehra toh dikh jata hai"
Swamini dropped her jaw a little "Saheb aap kuch bhi bolte hai.. Main kabhi aapke samne nahi hoti. Aap hi aayne ke samne hote hai hamesha"
"Accha?" Sumedh again said it.
Swamini blushed and giggled. She wore a necklace and a mangalsutra.
"Are haan haan" Sumedh said "Pata hai aaj dhanteras hai. Sara sona aaj hi pehen logi kya?"
"Sara? Bas ek necklace pehna hai.. Aapke gharwalo ne bahot sona diya hai mujhe" Swamini said "Ek sath nahi pehen sakti"
"Mere gharwale pagal hai" Sumedh said.
"Aap bahot galat sochte hai gharwalo ke bareme" Swamini said.
Sumedh was about to reply when he saw Swamini folding her handkerchief in a very different way.
"Yeh kaha se sikha tumne?" Sumedh asked.
"Aapki mummy ne mujhe shaadi se pehle grooming classes me bheja tha waha pe" Swamini said whilst applying eyeliner "Makeup karna, thik se rehna, baat karna kaise kapde pehenane hai, kaise presentable rehna hai yeh sab sikhaya tha mujhe. Warna mujhe bilkul kuch nahi aata tha yeh sab. Bahot alag thi main"
Sumedh stopped combing his hair and looked at her through mirror. As usual it was late when Swamini understood her mistake. She shouldn't have told this to him.
"Mummy ne tumhe grooming classes karwaye?" Sumedh asked.
"Mujhe nahi batana chahiye tha aapko" Swamini lowered her lashes "Main baat karne lag jati hoo toh samajh hi nahi aata kaha rukna hai"
"Mummy is impossible" Sumedh said "I just.. Main samajh nahi sakta ki us aurat ko samjhne me itni galati kaise ki maine"
"Jane dijiye na Saheb" Swamini said "Matlab thik hai.. Unko laga hoga ki mujhe grooming ki jaroorat hai"
"Par tum naturally jaisi ho waise rehne ka tumhe haq hai.." Sumedh said "Yeh galat hai ki unhone tumhe change kiya itna"
Swamini didn't know what to say.
"Surname kya hai tumhara?" Sumedh asked.
"What?" Swamini was shocked.
"Surname kya tha tumhara mujhse shaadi karne se pehle?" Sumedh asked.
Swamini again lowered her lashes "I can't tell you. You know that"
Sumedh sighed "I am gonna talk to mummy" He declared.
Swamini gasped but Sumedh left in hurry.

Whole Pune city was decorated in lights and lanterns. Festivities were filled in atmosphere. Members of Sumedh's Extended family were excitedly sitting in cars. They were going out after quite some time.
Their cars followed by their security cars was a scene for city. Everyone stopped to look at them on road. They were quite famous now and not just because Abhimanyu but because of their own different things!
