First Fight

"Didi?" Sumedh stood up.

"Maine suna.. Tumne kaha tum dono alag rooms me rehte ho" Ridhi said.

Swamini also stood up. She looked at Sumedh. They didn't know what to answer.

"Aisa kyu?" Ridhi asked.

"Didi wo.." Sumedh was trying to find a good reason.

"I know you're religious Sumedh.. Par jis tarike se shadi ki hai tumne you shouldn't wait for satyanarayan pooja" Ridhi said.

Sumedh widened his eyes and looked at Swamini who was confused.

"Yes" Sumedh said "I was waiting.. I mean we were waiting for Satyanarayan pooja"

"Toh Muhurat nikalte na.. Hum sab aa jate" Ridhi said "Tum sach me alag hi ho Sumedh.."

"Sorry" Sumedh said.

"Tabhi main soch rahi thi ki kaise tum Shadi ke itne jaldi baad Gujarat nikal gaye" Ridhi said.

"Didi" Sumedh felt awkward.

Ridhi laughed "Ab hum sab yahi hai naa.. Hum sabse pehle Muhurat nikalenge aur Satyanarayan pooja karenge aur Vahini ki garbhadan pooja bhi"

Swamini didn't know what that meant. But Ridhi was looking excited so she just smiled in response.

"Sab log aa rahe hai?" Sumedh asked.

"Haan.. Packing chal rahi hai Amit aur Purvi Vahini ki.. Bhaiyya Saheb Aur Vahini Saheb ka saman packed tha wo jaldi pohoch jayenge"

"Aur Daaji?" Sumedh asked.

"Wo bhi aa raha hai.. Apne Papa ko batake" Ridhi said.

"Unko koi problem nahi hai?" Sumedh asked.

"Hai toh.. Par ho sakta hai ki main aur Rituraj yaha pe maje kar rahe hai yeh dekh ke unko aisa lage ki hame maaf kar dena chahiye" Ridhi said "I am so excited.. We are gonna have so much fun"

"Are we though?" Sumedh asked.

"Yes" Ridhi said "Jyada dimag mat chalao. Amit ke har baat ka jawab mat do aur Bhaiyya Saheb ki har baat bina unko oppose kiye mano.. Yeh chheze tumne ki toh samjho sab thik"

Ridhi turned towards Swamini "Don't be nervous Vahini.. Sab thik hoga"

Swamini nodded.

"Can we come in?" They heard Prithviraj.

"Aagey jao aur unhe receive karo. Tum host ho" Ridhi whispered in Sumedh's ear.

Sumedh went ahead and smiled "Aaiye na Bhaiyya Saheb"

Prithviraj and Aaradhya smiled. They came in.

"Sirf Bhaiyya Saheb nahi hum bhi aaye hai" Amit said whilst directly coming in.

"Tumhara toh saman pack ho raha tha na?" Sumedh asked.

"Raid ki wajah se pack karne ko saman tha hi nahi" Amit answered "Listen I am broke okay? So I couldn't bring any gift"

"Oh ho ho" Ridhi exclaimed "Sakshat Kuber ji ke jamai is broke?? Really?"

"Kuber ke jamai ya bete?" Prithviraj asked.

"More of Kuber ji's fraud diwan (treasurer) jo 100 ke check pe sign karke baad me ek 0 add karte hai" Sumedh said.

"Ha Ha Ha" Amit said sarcastically "As if khud aap dono Mahatma Gandhi ho"

Sumedh rolled his eyes. Prithviraj made a face and looked away.
