She landed right into the while Tomoka rushed by and asked her if she was okay. Fumi is shocked to see that she is talking and her companions rush to help. Joey became bitter when he saw the 'giants' and Millie was scared of them. Joey told them about the sanitized roaches that tried to kill them. The roaches are joined in the group if they promise that they will get along.

Soon, the group are ambushed in the subway tunnels and are nearly destroyed, but manage to survive and are split up. Tomoka, Galaxy, Nebula, Manako, MIkey, Donnie and Rudolf flee to the tank while Shira, Reika, Pavi, Celebi, Meloetta, and Casey get trapped.

Casey calls out Leo for his arrogance because he wasn't listening to his team. He threw away the photo and started to find a way out of the rubble. Shira believed that they would never find a way out while Pavi told her story to Shira. Afterwards, Shira saw the last dragon being killed and realized that the warrior, Raya, was the cause of the disaster. Leo realized his mistake and told them that his family needs him. And so, they busted out of their trapped closure and made their way to Metro Tower.

Meanwhile, April and the others have to leave because the Krang are chasing them. They managed to save Tomoka and the others and reunited with Casey's group thanks to the help of Chipzie's sisters, Tra La La and Cuddly Wink.

After they are reunited, Leo asks Donnie if Raph is still in the building, which Donnie agrees. He noticed that Raph was on top of them and when they looked up, they found Raph trapped in a pink cocoon. They quickly cut the cocoon out and pulled Raph free. However, he has been possessed by  the Krang thanks to a Curse Soul that corrupted him and seizes the key, and the Krang captures Meloetta and uses the key to open the portal and bring forth the Technodrome. Then they placed her on a Crystal of Darkness along with the goddess Pilo's four orbs that maintain the world.

As the invasion begins, the group watch hopelessly realizing that they have failed. But a determined Leo said that they have changed history and said that they can still save the world and Kumandra. Mikey wondered if they should be worried about Raph, but Leo informed him that he is not gonna leave Raph behind.

While Rin, Ikioi, April, Splinter, and Casey occupy the Krang forces, Pavi and the others battle Panic, the Nightmaren's brother and a newly formed rabbit monster doll who mutated heavily and tried to attack them. Luckily, they managed to use light to scare the monster rabbit off and then the Druun came to consume them. They are saved by Lunala, guardian of the moon.

Elsewhere, the Turtles board the ship. Leo, Shira and Reika go after Raph, while Tomoka, Manako, Donnie and Mikey try to seize control of the ship.

With Leo and the two girls, they found the alien Kkng, Pielope and the infected Raph. Reika, with so much heartbreak and rage, transformed into a demonic monster of herself and they began to attack. Meanwhile, Donnie, Mikey, Manako and Tomoka have arrived at the main frame. They realized that it was a tentacle-like control booth and realized that one of them had to get in. Mikey and Manako take Donnie's battle shell off and he is sucked in. He was a spaceship now and was now able to get the Technodrome into the portal. But suddenly, they are all captured by Krang and are squeezed by the blackish tentacles, trying to corrupt them.

Leo suddenly realized that he doesn't want to fight anymore. He begged Raph to come back and said that he was scared because he was responsible for their lives. The monster didn't hear him but Reika managed to save Leo and battled the infected Raph. With the beast defeated, Reika began to lift up her ax to kill him. Everyone begged Reika to snap out of it, but she didn't listen. Just before she could kill him, Raph's eyes transformed back to normal, snapping her out of her rage.

Suddenly, Shira started to lose her power when the orbs lost their color. The ocean begins to dry up and it appears without water magic, the Druun will consume everyone. Leo and the two girls try to save Meloetta, but they are all captured. Before the krang mass corrupts them, Pavi's team called out for help and freed the breezies and the Turtles from their corruption. With everyone trusting each other, the siblings manage to fuse into four gods thanks to the Nightmarens and Celebi's call for help.

Meanwhile, Rin, April, Splinter, and Casey had defeated Sister Krang thanks to the help of Elfilin. Casey said to April and Splinter that he has to get the key and then heads to the Metro Tower while he calls out to Leo.

While the other six are thrown out of the ship, Shira and Leo's fusion takes Pielope and Krang back to their prison realm and orders Casey to close the portal, which results in the Technodrome getting stuck and destroyed. Then the young fusion threw her crystal necklace into the Crystal of Darkness and with the gem getting its powers back, and Meloetta being free, they blasted the Druun away and were saved.

Enraged when he saw Pielope dead, Krang yells that the two lovers ruined everything and now he was going to kill them. Dying together, they held up the photograph Casey had tossed away before they began to tearfully smile and kissed.

From Earth's dimension, Casey managed to find the crystals, and the katanas and was completely devastated. On Staten Island, the group began to mourn for their lost brother. Mikey and Manako tried to use their mystic hands, but it wasn't working. Raph told his little brother and sister that it's over, but Mikey said that Shira and Leo never gave up on them so Mikey is not going give up on them before their mystic power gateway activated.

They saved the two lovers but they realized that they had both died. Nebula said that they never do anything wrong and they sacrificed themselves to save the world. Raph tried to wake them up harshy but Nebula angrily blames him for not trusting Leo and Shira. Galaxy sadly said that it wasn't Raph's fault and sait that he wasn't strong enough to fight it. Hearing this, Raph blamed himself that it should have been him since he can't control himself. Tomoka assured him that it was the Krang that did this to him. Pavi then informed that he should trust Leo and Shira.

Believing Pavi was right, Raph begged the two lovers to wake up and tried to forgive them. Manako started to sing a few notes before the gem reacted to her singing. Soon, the girls began to sing. As they did, their tears formed a heart and absorbed the two lovers. Leo and Shira are revived and alive and everyone was overjoyed. Not only before they notice that Meloetta was fading away. In her final breaths, Meloetta said that she was so happy being here and she died into sparkles.

The dragons of Kumandra came back and Sifa was released from her orb, much to Shira's joy. And Celebi's kind has been brought back to life. After Shira listened to the leaf dragon Aiya's story of how she broke the world because she wanted her ba back, Shira realizes it is not the gem that needs to be brought together but the three races themselves. She explains that they can bring back everything they have lost, but it is up to them to decide whether to choose distrust or love.

The leaders began to place their scales onto the gem which was attached to the book Rin had found. Then with everyone finally trusting each other, Umi, the water mermaid was released. She congratulated them for accomplishing something even the dragons couldn't, since they didn't understand trust.

Shira doesn't know why, but Umi said that she was so proud of them when she was watching them from the very start, and that she and her siblings are now ready to fulfill their destiny. Then the four orbs that had fallen on the island start to glow and levitate off the ground. They swirl around the Turtles and carry them up into the air, filling them with magic.

Thanks to their blessing, the spirits transformed them into dragons, and managed to get their mystic magic back. Everyone was amazed since Umi explained that they have given so much hope and trust. Shira even recalled a heart that was able to feel loneliness, happiness, pain and true love just like what Meloetta wanted.

As soon as the citizens started rebuilding their city, the Turtles were crowned kings and queens of Kumandra and were married, with the eight Crystals of Light as their wedding necklaces after the Crystal of Darkness was destroyed.

The dragons return to their country to reunite with their lost loved ones, including Aiya and her father; the tribes and dragons gather at Heart to unify as Kumandra once again.

As for the turtles, they have now had a happy ending together. They watch the city as it is being rebuilt and make a vow to defend it when it is needed.
