Chapter 10

Arashi's POV

Mission after mission, It's just been non stop for our team. We definitely deserve a break. Luck seemed to be on our side because...

"We got free tickets to a 5 start resort!!!" I yelled out

"Beach time!!!" Natsu and Happy yelled out

"Alright you three settle down." Lucy told us.

"Man, Loki really pulled all the stops on this one. Still can't believe that he was actually a celestial spirit."

"It was just his way of saying thanks that's all."

"Well lets hurry up and get changed already." Natsu ran up ahead and the rest of us followed.

I've heard Akane resort is the best vacation spot in all of Fiore. God it's been a long time since I went to the beach. I think last I went was my 2nd year summer vacation with Randy and the rest of the Kendo class.

I looked out towards the sea and couldn't help but think how things are over there. I couldn't help but miss them.

"Hey Ari, looks like you're the first one out." I looked behind and saw Lucy and Erza on their swimming outfits.

I could feel myself checking them out and it looked they knew it too.

"H-how do we look?" She asked embarrassedly and I saw Erza blushing too.

"Amazing, black looks great on you and that flower design is a cute touch." I complimented

"Heads up Ari!!" I heard Natsu yelled.

I turned around and was met with a beach ball at full force to the face. Everyone was too stunned to react.

"So...You've chosen death." I released a menacing aura scaring him.

I served the ball right back him with twice the force but he was handle it and send it right back to me.

"Setting it up Gray." I warned him as I set it up

"Got it!!"

Gray spiked it but Erza came in with the save. Lucy tried to save it but she fell short. Our first day of our vacation started off to a good start.

Later on the day

Natsu and Gray decided to go down to the Casino and I thought it was good idea so I was going to tell the girls about, I ran into Lucy first and told her what was up and she said she'll be ready in a few. Now all it was left was just to tell Erza. I knocked on her door and saw that she was waring her usual armor again.

"Hey Erza."

"Hey Ari."

"Natsu and Gray are going to Casino, Lucy's also going. I just came to get you."

"Oh yeah, I'll get ready now."

I could feel something was off but I couldn't put my finger in it. So I decided to do something.

"Ari?" She asked after I approached her and was now inches away from her.

I gently put a hand on her cheek which I guess surprised her and I pressed my forehead against hers.

"Ar-Ari????" Her voice became higher.

But I didn't say anything and just kept doing what I was doing. Then I did something out of left field, I quickly pecked her forehead and gave her a smile.

"I'll see you downstairs." Was all I said and left to get ready myself.

Erza's POV

I was no expecting that, especially from him. I could feel my feeling my heart beating out of my chest, I looked over to the mirror hanging on the wall and saw it was red.
