"Miss Sylvia Okonkwo I'm asking you again, do you have a hand in Senator Julius death." Inspector Ahmed questioned but my answer was always negative. "No, I've told you so many times that I didn't kill him. I came in and I found him tied up and dead." He didn't believe any single thing I said because he heard every single word that was said in the room. I know that he knows that I know. If it was up to him he would just lock me up but he doesn't have any evidence.

"Okay then, Sergeant Musa call the DPO for me." Inspector Ahmed said to his partner. "Yes sir, I'll be right back." When he left the room, Inspector Ahmed bombarded me with questions. "You know very well you are responsible for Senator Julius death, so tell me how did you do it.? I'm sure your driver is your accomplice." I looked at him pointedly. I wasn't going to spill the beans, ever since he started working for Julius I've never liked him neither did he. "I have nothing to say to you, I'm innocent."

"It's enough Inspector Ahmed, her driver has also been questioned but he said he has no hands in the crime besides we have no evidence. We would have to keep investigating. My name is Kolawole Salami miss, I'm the DPO. Sorry for the inconveniences, have a good day." I love this man already, finally I can get out of here. "But sir I am not do-" "It's okay Ahmed, uncuff her." The DPO interrupted him. When I was uncuffed, the DPO and the sergeant left but Ahmed stayed back.

"I promise you Sylvia you'd rot in jail for the crimes you've committed. I'd always be on your tail, remember you are the main suspect." He said while closing the door. Stupid bastard now he's been added to my list of enemies. When I walked out I found Oga Timmy standing by the door. "Sylvia are you okay? Are you fine? I hope they didn't hurt you." He asked concerned. "I'm fine Timmy, what about you? I hope they didn't touch you?" "No they didn't but I made a deal with the Inspector that questioned me, Emeka." I trust Oga Timmy not to let me down. So I'm sure the deal had a positive outcome.

"Yes I'm listening, what was it all about?" "He agreed to be our spy in the police if only we pay him two hundred thousand naira monthly. I know that Ahmed would always be after you so why don't we be faster than him." He said smiling proudly. "That wouldn't be a problem at all, Thank you very much for your help Timmy. It means a lot." I said while hugging him, he didn't expect it but he relaxed. When we got into the car Timmy asked me an unexpected question. "Now that you have acquired all the power, resources and connections you need to put your revenge in action don't you want to leave the name Sylvia for a while and be known with a name much better."

I thought about what he said and he actually had a point. My name has been tarnished, used by a lot of men in the worst way ever. "Well what do you suggest I should be called." "Why don't you go for MADAM, it sounds powerful." MADAM, I love the sound of that, new name, new beginning.

"It's being five years now since I started my empire, business is really going well. Acquiring Senator Julius possessions and his illegal business is one of the best thing I've ever done, I'm the most known and feared money laundrer, drug and weapon trafficker in Nigeria. I have everything I could ever ask for, now I'm after Ovie. "Madam we've made some findings you may not like at all." Razor the tech guy said while coming into my office with his laptop. "We've being snooping around to find out Ovie's whereabouts but he really is sneaky."

"What is it you found?" I said hurriedly trying to stand up. He showed me some pictures of a young boy who shouldn't be older than twelve, he looked oddly familiar but I can't remember seeing him anywhere. "He's yo-" Razor was interrupted by an incoming call from Ovie. "Hi Sylvia, I presume you've seen the pictures of a young boy." "How did you know about that?" I asked suspiciously while looking round the room. "Silly girl, I allowed you to find those pictures. Do you really think your men are that good." "Cut to the chase Ovie, who is the boy?"

"He is our son." Those four words sent me to the ground instantly, I thought he was dead. So he's been alive for the past eleven years without my knowledge no wonder he looks so familiar just like his father. "My son, he's all grown up." I said while looking at his pictures. "How could you do this to me Ovie, how can you separate a mother from her child. He's the only thing I live for." I sobbed. "Enough of the crying Sylvia, you do that a lot. I want us to make a deal, you give me weapons for free then you get to see your son but I'm not promising to give him to you. Deal." I didn't even think about it twice, I agreed immediately.

"Yes I'd give you anything just let me see him please I beg you." Unbeknownst to me he was laughing at me. "I thought you are the Madam that you call yourself but you are crying like a baby because of a child, fool. I want my shipment tomorrow morning by 9:00am sharp, you'd get to see him in the afternoon at La Mango." "Thank you ve-" I was rudely interrupted by him. "Shut your trap I'm not done yet. You get to see him from your car not face to face and no approaching him, talking to him or touching him."

I would take anything whatsoever so I get to see my precious son. "Yes I agree, it's a de-" He didn't even let me finish my statement before he ended the call. "Are you sure Madam that you want to do this? It may be a trap and what if he's not your son." "He's my son Timmy, he has the same birthmark my dad had on his left eyebrow. It's genetic." I replied. "If you say so then, Inspector Emeka called to tell me that Ahmed is still bent on sending you to jail, he says he's up to something because he doesn't involve him in the investigation anymore. Should we bothered?"

"Inspector Ahmed isn't my problem now, I have bigger fish to fry. I finally get to see my son Timmy. I'll just tell Stephen to increase security." Stephen was my C.S.O, he's very efficient and extremely loyal. He's expressed his feelings to me severally but I'm not going to get involved with my employees. He's one of the person's I trust wholeheartedly. "Okay Madam, should I take my leave."No wait, hold on a second. Razor please leave." I completely forgot he was still there. When he left I poured out my mind to Timmy.

"I don't trust this guy Razor, maybe because he's Edo but I'm really sceptical about him. Why is he the only one who got the pictures, I hope he isn't a soy because he wouldn't find it funny when I get to know." "You worry too much Madam, I won't say you are paranoid but I'll look into it." He said while smiling at me, he really getting old now because I could see wrinkles on his face. "Thank you get much Timmy, you've done a lot for me. I don't even know how to pay you back." I said holding his hands.

"You don't have to pay me, I would lay my life down for you, anytime, any day." He said seriously. "I know you would but I pray it doesn't come to that."
