(Tweak's pov)
"Now, what did you need help with" barnacles asked, upon entering the launch bay. "Let me show you" I replied, walking toward a control panel. "This is an octofloat, it can record the temperature of the water it's in and dashi helped me add a special 360 underwater camera so we can see any creature that swims past the float" I explained. "Impressive" barnacles exclaimed, looking on in amazement. "What I'd like you to do is take the gup-A out and retrieve the float so Shellington can analyze the data" I said, gaining an understanding nod from the captain. "I think I can manage that" barnacles smiled, marching towards the gup that has quickly become a favorite of his. "Tweak.." he started, after boarding the ship. "Already on it cap" I interrupted. I placed my paw on the leaver and looked back at barnacles, he gave me a thumbs up and I sent him on his way

(Captain's pov)
"Now, let's see" I said to none in particular, checking the map. Tweak had marked the octofloat's location on the map, making it relatively easy to find. I drove along for a while, eventually coming across the float "Ah, there you are" I remarked, a smile appearing on my face. Pulling the gup's steering column towards my chest, sending the gup upwards. After breaking the surface, I reached over the side of the gup and scoped the float out of the water

"Tweak, the float has been retrieved" I remarked, after activating the radio. "Good work cap" Tweak laughed, "I'll keep the octo-hacth open for you" she added. "Alright, I'm on my way. Barnacles out" I replied, ending the call. As I was about to start back to the octopod, I noticed an orange something or other floating in the water a good distance away from me "eh?" I exclaimed. I pulled out a pair of binoculars to get a better look, as I was looking I realized it wasn't a something.. it's a someone. A bright orange cat floating on their back, seemingly unconscious. I drove toward the limply laid feline, fearing the worst.

Coming up along side the motionless cat, I can see he's still breathing but he's been thoroughly battered. I placed my paws underneath his arms and hoisted him up and into the gup, gently placing the young cat in the back of the gup-A. "Barnacles to octopod. I have an unconscious and injured cat that needs a medic ASAP. Have peso meet me in the launch bay" I announced though the radio. Hopefully he's not too far gone
