Steve looked at me continuously "James it's fine y/n won't say no she loves you just as much as you love her I was talking to Peggy and.." I looked and him and sighed "Steve shhh y/n wanted her looks to be a secret please" Steve was the same thing but in blue it made him stand out he nodded and we looked at the beach it was beautiful pink and yellow rose down the aisle Seats on each side for anyone that wanted to watch the arch made out of vines and flowers I couldn't wait to see my bride I stood at the arch with Steve and the priest stood " hello I'm priest John I suppose your James the groom" he shook my hand Steve had handled the priest since he was persistent in paying for something "yes I'm James" Steve shook hands with John " the bride will be here soon she's just finishing up her looks"
Y/n pov I looked at my mirror I was stunning my hair was tightly curled I had a tiny crown on my head and a lovely dress to match I decided to go and be bold and choose a bold colour so I choose a rose dress (pic of hair, crown and gown below)

It was perfect I smiled at Peggy "what do you think am I ready" she smiled and handed me pink and yellow roses "now you are" we linked arms and went to the limo I sat next to Peggy as we left to the venue me and Peggy was chatting away about how she felt about this German man starting war and she getting me because not even the untied states was helping out " hey Peggy it's fine they just scared or men like James and Steve" we laughed and we reached the beach I got out of the car and walked down the aisle I stood in-front of James ready to say I do 1 year and a bit later Y/n pov I'm y/n barnes im 22 and I'm doing the intro why because James was drafted early this morning because we finally decided to take action against Hitler and the nazis first was the knock at the door late yesterday night an army man "ma'am is James Bunchanan Barnes Jr Available it's urgent that I speak to him now" he was a sleep but I couldn't say no I rushed upstairs " James darling an army man is at the door" he got up and told me to wait here I didn't I followed him after he went to the stair and his on the stairs listening in "Mr Barnes you are to be drafted tomorrow morning to officially fight in world war 2 we expect you at the airport no later than 9 so your goodbyes to anyone you care about" I rushed back to my room and sat on the bed my hand was shaking tears was overwhelming me James came back and saw me and rushed to me "y/n I told you to stay now look your in tears and a gorgeous girl like you doesn't need to cry I know your upset I am too I have to go to ensure that you're save I'll be back soon for now love rest up" I fell asleep 2 hours after crying myself to sleep and I woke up with him gone he left a note saying he was sorry without saying bye but he left me everything to me and I'll be okay if he didn't come back but he promised he would he would write everyday to me. It was sad he was gone but not for long he promised me.
