Anaemia

DERRICKS POV

I feel so happy that we finally told the girls everything and how they are so understanding towards everything.

Especially Elyssa, I'm so happy she was calm about it even tho she was shocked,

Speaking of Elyssa where is she?, "where is Lyssa?" I asked everyone,

"She went to the toilet" Kay answered, I nodded my head and went back to playing game,

"Babe can you help get more ice from the freezer?" Chris asked Vanessa, she nodded and took the bowl and walked to the kitchen,

"Derrick!!" We heard Vanessa scream, I quickly ran over to her,

Just to find Elyssa on the toilet floor, blood all over her head, passed out,

"Shit, shit, Mike get my phone!" I screamed,

"No no no no no, not again!" Kay screamed as she ran and saw Lyssa on the floor,

I took my phone and quickly dialed the ambulance number, while Kay and Vanessa tried to clean her up for a bit,

Few minutes later the ambulance was here and Chris led them into the house

They cleaned her up, gave her an injection to keep her stable and took her into the ambulance,

"What happened?" One of the doctors asked, "nothing, she was okay, she left to go to the toilet and we found her like this" Vanessa answered,

"Do you know the reason why she would've suddenly passed out?" He asked again,

I looked at Kaysha and Vanessa, "she's anaemic, when she has her period she passes out most times due to over bleeding but she hasn't passed out for the pass two months" Kay answered,

Wait did I hear that right? Elyssa has anaemia? No no this must be a joke, not my Elyssa I turned and looked at the boys out of confusion and they looked at me,

"We will need one person to come with us in the ambulance" the doctor said,

"Kay you should go since you know a little bit about her condition" Vanessa told Kay, Kay nodded and quickly rushed outside,

I ran back to the living room, grabbed my car keys and told the others so we could go to the hospital

I still can't believe Elyssa is a patient, no, so she had something she was hiding too, a single tear ran down my eye as I kept on thinking

I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulders, "you don't have to cry Derrick everything will be fine" Vanessa tried to calm me down, I nodded.

We finally arrived at the hospital and we quickly got out of the car and rushed in

"Elyssa Daniels?" We asked at the reception, "141" the nurse responded, we quickly ran there,

Getting to the room, Kaysha was sitting by her bed crying as Elyssa laid down unconscious with a bandage around her head,

We went into the room, "where's the doctor?" I asked, "in his office, he will be back soon" Kay answered,

The doctor then came back few minutes later, "how is she doctor?" Vanessa asked,

The doctor sighed, "she didn't hit her head that hard so it will be fine, but the problem is, she has lost a lot of blood, she is 4,5/7 and she needs at-least two bags of blood if not we can't predict what will happen next" the doctor responded,

Without thinking I said, "I will donate" I said to the doctor, he smiled, "we will have to test you to see if your blood matches her own", the doctor said,
