Sniper has a deathly fear of emus. The others make fun of him for it, but they've never encountered an emu before, and think being afraid of what is essentially a big chicken is really stupid.
(PS, there was a war on emus in 1932, and the emus won)
(Fun fact, it takes about 10 bullets to take down an emu)
