There is a freaking hate war because of a mistranslation.
And here's the whole story of how this thing came to be on a screen in front of you:
So I seriously had some conversation about homosexuality every day for the past week and it was beginning to disturb me slightly.
On Friday Romanos_girl and I went on a church retreat with our mothers.
When we went to the room where all the youth were the leaders told us to take out our bibles.
We had forgotten our bibles so we went and got bible apps on our phone.
There was a comment section or something on my friends phone and she looked at it.
Someone posted the link and told her cousin she hoped it brought her back to God.
My friend of course clicked on it and found this wonderful article.
So instead of "man shall not lie with man as he does with woman" ("lie with" means to have sex with") it says "Thou (male because they expect the reader to be a guy) shall not lie with man in woman's bed" (don't have sex with another dude in a chic's bed)
I went ahead and read the whole thing then tried to figure out why and the page said to go to Leviticus 15 so I did and here's why.

So in the old olden days when the bible was created there were no tampons or pads, so when a woman was on her period she had her own bed and she would just hang out there because while on her period she was "unclean" (unclean was Gods way of saying things would cause diseases. For example a woman walking around leaking blood.)
Only her husband was aloud in her bed and that was only while she was not on her period. (Why would anyone besides her husband be in her bed anyway though?)
If a guy had sexual release he was unclean for the rest of the day. (God preventing stds)
Basically two men making the frick frack in a woman's bed is an abomination because:
-At least one of these two men is not her husband and if it is he is cheating on her with a dude.
-The bed is unclean from the woman having her period on it
-The men are going to both have sexual release making themselves unclean and the already unclean bed even more unclean
So that's just plain nasty.
Basically go fuck your boyfriend on your own bed.

So my friend showed it to me and I read the whole thing.
I encourage you to do the same and explore the whole website. every single argue meant about homosexuality is disproven.
I strongly believe that god meant for this to get to me so I could share it to you and you could share it with others because he loves a all his children not just the straight ones.
