Chapter 3: Approval From The Family

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَندَادًا يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ اللَّهِ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِّلَّه

Still, there are some who take others as Allah’s equal—they love them as they should love Allah—but the believers love Allah even more.

(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:165)

" How could you do this to your own brother " said angry Farhan  coming inside the room and  closed  the door with a  thud

 "Slowly...she  will wake up!"  farhana  said  in  a melodious voice , pointing at her little child. "What happened Farhan   " she asked innocently  unaware of what he is talking about 

" What happened??don’t act like innocent! I know you are behind ruining my life " he said  raising his voice .

 "what did I do Farhan and why will I ruin your life ?"   she asked him calmly,  she  definitely knew that if she burst then he will expell all those  thundery words he knew.

 "what did you do?? ugh  farha  don’t   act!! I know  you and mom planned   all this" he exploded as his anger started to rise inside  like burning coal 

" I really don’t know!what are  you  talking about farhan... you must have misunderstood  something and you are  just letting out your anger on someone  who  doesn’t even know what are you talking about  " she said angrily gritting her teeth trying to prove that he was wrong.

" You know a lawyer never misunderstand things and he always  perfectly knows what he is talking about"  he said with a fearful evil smile.

 "Some times they can be wrong " she said  with sarcasm trying to poke his ego.

" Oh.. really!!  so you are telling that you didn’t send  Akram's proposal for shabana" he shrieked at her with a deadly stare  

 "What??? how do  you know that" she asked him surprised of what he just said.

 "I  have my ways to know things Farha "   he said  punching the table near him " and  no mater how much ever  you and mom try to  stop me  from marrying her... I know allah is always with me... He knows my heart  " he added 

 "Whaat!!!  you want to marry her " she asked astonished  "then why did you say no when I asked  you  "

 "When did I say no! I was always asking mom to  send proposal  to shabanas home  which she never did! Mom think that  I will have to look after all  her  family, if I marry her .   it hurts  me inside  everytime I think about  mom. how can  she do this to her own child?  just because their financial condition is down! If so, then it doesn’t mean that  I will have to look after them. allah is there  for them . He is the one who provide rizq"he let out  all that he was hiding from her sister since days.

" What ? I cant believe mom  said that" Farha exaggerated "  I guess we must be unlucky people to lose a girl like her  " she added

 "That’s what I have been telling mom but she  never  listened to me and now you joined to help her " he gasped

"No Farhan... I always wanted you both to get marry. remember I once asked you whether you will marry my friend, at that time you said that you like someone else so I thought maybe there is someone else in your life so I just didn’t  force you"   she uttered  as soon as she got the chance to prove him wrong
