I grumbled and dragged myself to 'my room'.
"Fuckin Andrew- he can't tell me what to do. I- I'm 17!"

I kicked the doorframe on my way in and regretted it instantly as pain surged through my ankle. I crumpled to ground, clutching my foot and quietly crying out.
"Why the fuck did I do that?"
I breathed out, just as I was getting better I had to do something stupid and ruin everything.
"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!"
I struggled to stay quiet as tears pooled in my eyes.

Andrew must've heard the ruckus as he called up, concerned and presumably from the stairs

"Jamie? Everything alright up there?"
"Yeah I'm fine!"
I growled back, hiding the pain as I staggered to my feet and limped over to the bed. I rubbed away any evidence of my tears and gathered up my scattered outfit.

Struggling for a bit, I eventually succeeded in getting dressed.

I could've gone back down to Andrew but I instead chose to lay on my bed for whatever time I had left before the stupid doctor came in.

I don't even know why but I felt really sleepy as soon as my head hit the pillow. I couldn't stop my eyes from slowly taking longer and longer blinks until they remained shut and I fell asleep.

I was then awoken far too soon by a loud ring sound. I sat up, whining and pawing at my eyes. I crawled out to the edge of the bed and slipped off. I really had to go to the bathroom but that didn't matter right now, I wanted to know where Andi was. My head felt all fuzzy.

I toddled out of the room and padded down the hallway. I stopped at the top of the stairs, holding onto the railing as I peered down to see Andi talking to someone outside, who I couldn't see.

"Ah Jamie there you are, the nurse has finally arrived, half an hour late I might add"
"Oh shut up, traffic sucks this time of day"
I heard the nurse, probably Tom say from outside.
"Well it's not half an hour late traffic-"

Andi cut himself off and really looked at me, fully. I teetered from foot to foot under his gaze, fidgeting with my fingers. He smiled.

"Jamie, were you taking a nap?"
Andi chuckled, I could hear Tom slightly laughing as well. The fuzziness in my head completely dissipated as I rushed to defend myself.
"No!-"
I protested, frantically fixing my bed head and straightening out my crumpled up hoodie.
"I wasn't!"

Andrew expression softened as he climbed a couple of steps.
"Hey, there's nothing wrong with napping, everyone does som-"

"Before you lecture any further there And', I've got a paitent who needs checking up and a busy day ahead of me"
Tom I believe, finally stepped into the house and shut the door behind him. I could actually see him now and when I did I gulped.

He was super fucking tall too, maybe like bit shorter than Andrew but still! What is up with this family of, I'm presuming giants.

Massive tree man number 2 walked straight into the house and beckoned for us both to follow him into the sitting room.

I stayed right where I was, definitely not because I was scared. Andrew didn't seem to get that though, as he walked up the steps to me, holding out his hand.
"It'll be ok Jamie, trust me"

I shot Andrew a quick 'shut up' look before taking his hand. He smiled and lead me down the stairs.

We walked through the hallway but before we went through the sitting room door I slipped out of his hand. Can't let this guy think I'm a wimp.

Andrew rubbed my back for a moment and went in. I followed.

Tom was knelt in front of the couch, going through a bag. He looked up and smiled at me.
"Hey kiddo! Just take a seat there on the couch and we can begin"
