"Mawi, tangi please wake up. Don't leave me." She was not moving and she didn't open her eyes. Blood was gushing out from her head. I couldn't do anything but to weep. I wanted to scream yet I don't have the strength to do so. I can hear my heart crashing while looking at her. 

I checked her pulse and there's nothing. "Mawi, no. Please, wake up tangi. Wake up!"

"Mawi!!!" I shouted. Napaupo ako sa kama at naramdaman ang pagdaloy ng sakit sa buo kong katawan.

"Zaki! Oh my god."

Tumingin ako sa pinanggalingan ng boses na iyon at nakita ko si Ithalia na bakas ang pag-aalala sa kanyang mukha. Napahinga ako ng malalim nang mapagtanto kong panaginip lang ang lahat. It really feels real though, and I wasn't that scared in my entire life. I felt something warm fell down my cheeks. Damn tears. 

"Calm down, you're not fully healed yet."

"Where's Mawi?" Iyon agad ang tanong ko, pinunasan ko rin ang luha sa mga mata ko.

I almost lost her after the encounter.  I thought she was shot, but when I checked her, fortunately she was not. She just passed out. Again. 

Ilang segundo pa ang hinintay ko bago nagsalita si Veni.  She reached for my hand and squeezed it a little.

"Nasa operating room pa rin, Zaki. She's been there for 12 hours already after nila kayong dalhin dito sa ospital."

I took a deep sigh. I closed my eyes tight.

Hindi ko na maalala ang sumunod na mga nangyari pagtapos nila kaming akayin papasok ng sasakyan para dalhin sa ospital. I also fell unconscious due to gunshots. Gusto ko mang alalayan si Mawi, but my body gave up.

"I- I want to see her." Pakiusap ko kay Veni.

Umiling siya.

"Please, Veni... I want to see her."

"Zaki, you're not fine. At hindi mo rin siya makikita kasi nasa OR pa. Maybe you could see her after the operation."

She's right, but I still want to be there even just outside the OR's door waiting for the good news and waiting for her to come out para ilipat siya sa recovery room kasi successful ang operasyon niya.

Damn, mababaliw ako kapag nandito lang ako sa kwarto.

"Zyrone is one of the surgeons who's operating right?" She nodded.

Ikinuwento niya ang lahat nang nangyari nang madala kami dito sa ospital. Kinailangan na raw operahan agad si Mawi. We were both in the OR, pero nauna akong matapos at nakatulog ng walong oras. While Mawi's still fighting there.

I just really hope that she'll keep fighting. She's so strong, she won't leave me.

Kahit na noong nasa kapahamakan kami, she still fought until she could. Gumawa ako ng paraan para mapatumba si Nikolay, I left where Mawi left me. Kailangang mabilisan lang ang lahat dahil ilang minuto lang din ang natitira. I was just really lucky that everything happened in the right time. While she's buying time which I was really thankful for, I was also doing everything I could to end Nikolay, to save her and her father from danger.

Mabuti nga rin at nandoon sila Veni, Grimes, Kharlo and Zyrone. Kaya mas napabilis ang pagapapatumba sa kalaban.

"I can.."

Muling umiling si Veni, she's acting like a Mom again.

"Zaki, huwag na matigas ang ulo. Hindi matutuwa si Marian kapag ganyan ka."
