"Yo! How are ya' doin', Ryu?" I asked the man in front of me who was drowning in alcohol.

Kagami Ryunosuke, Yomi-kai's 2nd executive.

He didn't reply and just continued to drink. 

"You look like shit. Hahaha" I said and sat down in front of him and he looked at me.

"And you're still a cocky piece of shit." He said with a tone laced in venom and I just laughed.

"Good to see that your still energetic despite being broke." I said and threw his glass in my direction and I just dodged.

"Tsk, what do you want?" He asked with annoyance.

"Are you in a hurry or something? Another plan to hit the casino?" I asked in a sarcastic tone and he glared at me.

"Well, that really doesn't matter" I said and poured myself a glass of alcohol.

"You would already know what I want from the letter I sent you." I said with a grin.

"You want some people to do your little spying assignment?" He said.

"Bingo! Of course, you'll also receive something in return, just like I mentioned in the letter." I said

"How many people do you need?" He said and I smiled.

"Give me half of yours." I said and he slammed the table.

"Are you fvcking with me? Half? That's at least 100!!" He said and I put my drink down and took something from my suit.

It was a cheque, I wrote 10 million on it and named it under him. I slide the paper to him and he looked at it.

"10 million yen!? That's it, and you want 100 people?!" He said

"Oi oi oi, did your eyesight go bad or something? Look again." I said

"Ten million....US dollars.." he said

"Isn't that enough to keep you going? Besides it's not like you could pay many people right now right?" I said

Good thing I got the money from the former 4th executive. Even when he died at least he wasn't completely useless.

He sighed and sat down.

"So do we have a deal?" I asked

"I'm only letting you borrow half of my men. You give them back after you're done with your job. I don't care if some of them died, just give who are left-back." He said

"Alright alright, I will give them back." I said and held out my hand.

"You're a pain in the ass, Kai." He said and shook my hand and I just laughed.

"I'll take that as a compliment." I said with a smile.

"So, are you gonna stay here in HK or go back right away?" He asked

"Yeah, I have to go somewhere after 2 days so you better prepare what I asked. Akihiko-san wanted me to see him and report in person." I said

"I see, but where?" He said and I smiled

"He said to meet him in Beijing." I said

"He isn't in Japan?" He asked

"Of course not. After what happened with Bonten, living in Japan would be a bad idea." I said

"You're right." He said

"Anyway, it's my time to go. Enjoy your money and send me what we talked about as soon as possible." I said and walked out of the room.
