Every night I dream of you
My pillows become soaked through
Blankets do not block my view
Frost has chilled me to my core
Beached on a desolate shoreEvery view of you breaks me
Rusted links upon my heart
Broken by your piercing words
Did you have to use a sword
Remove these shards of hatredJust a space upon my wall
Slightly darker than the rest
From where you used to reside
Inside the hole of my chest.
