I am not a tall man
I am not a handsome man
I am not a poster child for beauty
I am not a role model for abstinence
...in anything
I have lived to excess
Gluttony, sloth, envy are my signs
I am not a strong man
At least in the traditional sense of physical strength
But I am resilient
I walk tall through my faults
Every failure a chance for rebirth
I fall from love I get up
I fall from home I get up
I fall from financial security I get up
I fall off the wagon I get up
My life is one of excess leading to failure followed by reinvention
Evolve and adapt with each failure
We were not meant to be stagnant in our being.
