"Jay!" A cold day in the hotel and all Jay wanted to do was sleep the day off but it seems the universe had other plans for him since he heard the call of the literal ghost
"Ughhhh"he groan covering his ears with the blanket
"What's he doing?" He heard a kid say
"I don't know maybe he's sick" another tells him
"Only one way to find out" the first kid says as he jumped with all his might landing right at Jay's stomach
"WHATTHEFUCKDANIEL!!!??!??"
After the whole chaos Jay prepare himself for the day,thin suit clad on his body despite the cold air since in his words,'feeling cold is not an excuse to look like shit'
He went to wake Jungwon up because that boy can sleep through an earthquake if no one decides to wake him up,on the way he saw some people putting up decorations and that's when he realised it's christmas
He sigh because it's gonna be same this year, he'll be all alone,doing noting all day in a big house,bored out of his mind
He honestly had nothing to look forward to
He reached Jungwon's room and got inside "Jungwon wake up now" he called out,he walked closer and closer
But when he got to the side to the bed he doesn't see Jungwon
Wide eyes,a bit surprised since this is a bit unusual for him
"Jay?" Someone called from outside
"Yeah Nicho where's Jungwon?"He walked outside
"Erm,i think i saw him walking up the rooftop"Nicho says furrowing his brows
"Okay thank you"
"Yeah man"
He quickly walk upstairs looking for one person,he notice how the hotel looked quite different today,it looked warm and.....alive
He opened the door to the rooftop and draw back from the sudden cold air
It's white out,a pure and blissful colour covering everything in sight
It looks bland and boring,Jay thinks
He saw a figure,he walks toward him holding his body to stay warm
"What are you doing here? it's cold"he ask Jungwon
"Oh!" Jungwon doesn't notice him approaching "hi Jay" he smiles
Jay notice how Jungwon's nose was tinted red and the white background made him look extra angelic
"You look....."Jay wants to say something else but "happy"
"Really?well it's Christmas"Jungwon said as a matter of fact
"And?" It came out a bit rude
"What do you mean?"Jungwon replies
"Why do Christmas make you happy?"Jay asks
"Well i guess.... memories?"Jungwon says excitement burning inside him
"Of what?" Jay could see his breath,he silently curse this day
"Of my brother" Jungwon starts "it's his favourite season,we would build snowmans,i mean it's my favorite too but only because snowballs make a great weapon " he laugh "Yongsun would help make them and i would throw them at people,he isn't aware of how i used them though,i guess you can call him an oblivious accomplice"
"That sounds nice" Jay says monotonous
"What's wrong?" Jungwon notice Jay's tone
"Nothing"Jay tries to deny it
"Jay" Jungwon sternly says
"It's nothing really Christmas just not for me"Jay states rubbing his nape and looking away
"You know you can talk to me right?" Jungwon softly speaks
Jay stared at him for a second before sighing,giving up
"It's just, I've never enjoyed Christmas,like I haven't seen why people enjoys it so much,i usually spend it alone in my bed" He says
Ever since his childhood Jay spends his Christmas alone because his parents never had time for him
No one has showed him how Christmas should look like
"Well I'm here now"
Jungwon might not realise this but his words have so much impact on Jay's
Jay smiled, he's not gonna have to spend it alone anymore
"Let's go inside now" Jungwon walked toward the door
Jungwon disappeared out of sight leaving Jay standing
Jay looked up the sky watching a snow fall
"Maybe it's beautiful afterall" he breathe,he let out his hand catching a single snow,he smiled at it,a beautiful white and pure snow
"Aren't you coming?"Jungwon called from inside,he turns around saying "coming"
He left the rooftop, deciding to give christmas a chance
