A boy is summoned by the King this afternoon for some reason they didn't know
"I swear to god if you get us in trouble we'll disown you"said a woman probably the mother
"You're right,we can't be having a problem because of him"a man beside him said "let's go"
So they left for the King,with their son behind them,he doesn't dare speak because he's scared
Scared that his parents might disown him,he doesn't even know what he had done wrong for the King to summon him
He need his brother right now more than anything but his parents already disowned him
And he knew they would do it to him too,but secretly inside though he wants to be disowned by them, because only then he could be with his brother the only person who loves him
"They have arrived my King" announced the servant signalling them to get inside
They made their way inside and knelt to the ground
They do not dare speak in the presence of the king
"Rise, you've been summoned here because your son's beauty caught my eyes"The king speak with so much authority but the words that came out surprised them
Me?the boy asked himself
"My king we do not understand"the father said
"Your son will marry my son the prince"the king said
And that's all Dongsun remember
They went home soon after with the king ordering them to better their son, enough to marry the prince
"This is so great,my son I'm so proud of you,think about how it would benefit our family,we won't have to act inferior to those scumbags anymore"the father cheers
"I knew we'd finally be lucky soon"the mother joins
A lot of things went through his mind but one thing clear is that
"I don't want to marry him"he blurted out,not knowing he would soon regrets it
"What did you say?"the father looked at him,anger building up,his veins popping
"You will do what we want"the mother adds
"B-But...."He tried but to no avail
A slap,that came from the thick palm of his father, piercing pain that soons followed
He fell to the ground, body's numb and his hands trembling out of fears or heartbreak
"Don't you dare talk back to us,our words are absolute and if you oppose me again I won't hesitate to kill your so called brother"his father threatened with a smile on his face
"N-no..."
"Please noo" Sunoo screamed, jumping up from his bed,tears falling uncontrollably from his eyes
It was a nightmare,but that nightmare is real,it is from his past life
"No"he breathe out voice soft and weak
He had been crying all day
He glance at his phone to see the notification
Seeing the 78th missed calls from Sunghoon saddened him a bit but he's not ready to talk to him
What probably hurts him the most is that the person he loved turns out to be the person who ruined his life in his past life
He realized he can't do this on his own so he called the person who he thinks could help him
His Jay-hyung
He had already fallen asleep when he received a call from Sunoo
Groaning a bit he took the call
Phone call with Sunoo
Jay:Do you know what time it is?
Sunoo:P-please help me
Jay:Sunoo?what happened?
Sunoo:please...
Jay: I'm coming to your apartment right away stay there
Jay ends the call and quickly get ready
He ran quickly through the hallway, can't even lower his noice because he's worried
"Jay where are you going?" He met Jungwon on the way
'i can't tell him' he said in his mind
"Just somewhere,please it's urgent, I'm going now bye"he said quickly and ran past him
"That's...... weird"Jungwon mumbled before minding his own business again
About 20 minutes later Jay arrived at Sunoo's apartment
It's dark and cold,he rang the doorbell and waited but no one answered
Soon after he realized that the door is not locked so he went in
He walked around searching for Sunoo
He walked inside the bedroom and saw Sunoo sitting on the floor hugging himself,his shoulder trembling a sign that he's crying
"Sunoo"he called and ran toward him
Taking his shoulder in his hand, getting a clearer look at him
He looked like a mess, his bright energy nowhere to be seen
He just hugged him,rubbing circles around his back
"It's fine I'm here hush it's fine" he whispered
After 5 minutes of sobbing loudly Jay speaks
"What happened?"
"I-i don't know what to do"Sunoo said his words choking him
"About what?tell me I'll help you"
"Did you know I'm supposed to marry a prince in my past life?"
"Yeah your brother told me"
"T-that prince was..."
"Who?"
"That prince was Sunghoon-hyung"
